If it wasn’t clear, once I got that weaning I shut the car off right away. Even when I was diagnosing, I didn’t let the car run for long and definitely did not drive it, otherwise I could’ve legitimately caused severe damage to the engine

I've always used Mann oil filter never had any issues. Some filters quality are just not good.

Ayman, when you put in a new oil filter its good practice to put some new oil on the pump that pushes out oil. what could be the issue is that the filter was brand new and the pump probably didn't have new oil initially. A few months ago when I did my oil change and I had the same problem on my N26 engine, the fix to that was to put a little bit of oil in the pump where the filter sits. InshaAllah this helps you out brother.

It happen to me first time i wanted to change the oil on my b47 diesel ,the new filter (mayle brand) had a factory error ,got it to warm up,check for oil level and after reading turned the warning Turned off the car,got to a nearby part shop with my bike and ,buyed a new filter this time bosch Installed worked fine ,no damage done,nothing to worry about

Don’t worry ayman. The engine has residual oil from the previous time you started. So even if you had no engine oil at all. You would still be fine at idle. But not for too long.

happened to me on my f30 b58, it’s the oil filter or the o rings you also just have to lube them up so when you start the car it knows everything is lubed. i deleted the code and 4k miles in no problems

Yup, always gotta lube the O rings for sure! Glad yours is all good now
