Ah, Fucking awesome! Been into Azaghal a long time, 2000/01, got a lot of tapes from the various side bands, ordering from Dragonthrone was one of the first of a handful of overseas labels I ordered from, good times & memories. Didn't get why they were hated by others in Finland, no idea if that's still the case. Azaghal had/has a cool thrash element blended in to the riffs/songs, which 15-18yrs back wasn't common anywhere, really. "Inhimillisyyden tuollapuolen" off the Musta Kuun Lapset has been a favourite of their's from back then along with Kalma's drumming that had the feel of propelling the song. Entertaining interview, been a while since I payed attention but I knew they were still going, still it brought back a lot of memories.

Thanks for posting this Jerry, it was the first live interview I've seen with Narqath, after first listening to Wyrd in 2003 or so (and later Azaghal). I do wish, though, that you had asked him about the renewed activity of Hin Onde. They've played live again, including with old buddy V-Khaoz on drums. Will they record new music, I wonder?

Too bad English is a second language as I am sure there's much lost in translation. Still a fun and interesting interview. I too and too honest for my own good. I find that many people find it refreshing, and those that don't are usually douche bags trying to hide their ways/methods. As I own 3 of their CDs it was nice to see the personalities behind the music.

Oh wow Azaghal now? FUCK YESSS!!!! They are one of my favourite black metal bands!! I have the album with the original Kyy and Filosofi songs on it, and the Teraphim album versions. Great album man!! Again I love this man and all his bands particularly vultyr.I’d like to know why he hasn’t made any more vultyr material .Not to say azaghal is a poor second .Bleed for vultyr is one of my favourite albums and I think vultyr does black legions of Satan a touch better than azaghal.Not complaining though.

Hehehh, about that lucky number seven, I think it´s just good that you don´t give good points too easily when you review an album. I mean that if you give 8 or 9 points then I know that it´s a REALLY good album!

That's exactly my point. I've been told to be really picky when I just don't hand out eigths and nines that easily. Besides 7 out of 10 is still quite a good review score like 5.5 being an average.
