My language Tamil has only two diphthongs ai, and au. when i reverse these sounds (read the wave form back to front), they sound like ya, and va / wa.. In English I believe these two are known as semi vowels.

Are diphthongs just vowels subjoined by the consonant sounds /w/ or /j/ respectively.

Ain’t no way you’re originally from Canada. you have an accent and it’s not American nor Canadian. You’re pretty close but the cracks are obvious to natives
