Michael Sheen’s expression is perfect when Crowley slams Aziraphale against the wall. He’s not scared, he’s not even alarmed. He looks… as though he’s quite enjoying it. Not overtly though. It’s subtle. Like he’s interested in the sensation of having Crowley press up against him, and he’s just letting it play out and see where it goes. And Tennant really gets his whole body up against Michael. He doesn’t just grab his collar and push him against the wall with his arm power, as one might expect. He presses his legs, hips, and chest against him. Just a tad unnecessary, Crowley. Like it’s clearly overkill. Crowley thinking “I’ll show you NICE”, Aziriphale thinking “oh here he goes again”, and then both of them actually really enjoying the physical contact and not wanting it to stop. Ok I might have thought about this a bit too much *fans self* 😳

I know the main focus for everyone here is Aziraphale and Crowley (naturally), but I also want to give some praise to Nina Sosanya as Sister Mary Loquacious/Mary Hodges. I was really interested in seeing how they'd portray a character who went from a chattering ditzy airhead to a competent no-nonsense business woman. I think they did great: Nina really manages to pull off both aspects in her small amount of screentime without seeming like two completely separate characters.

after listening to david tennants podcast with michael I think it's really amazing how much the characters have grown from ep 1 to season 2 as the actors grew into them and started to learn how to play them properly, aziraphale is so much different here than he is in season 2 where he's a lot more expressive and it gets me giddy thinking about S3.
