Aziraphale had a bit too much wine???

Ahhh!! I’ve finally got my first (finished) animatic!! took a bit more then two weeks to finish it off but hopefully the waits worth it! I think I may have had way too much fun with this…
Anyways I still don’t really know wat this is-just an extremely drunk, overworked and frustrated Aziraphale got sick of being alone in heaven and with the help of… a lot of wine gets up enough courage to go and …harass… Crowley in the bookshop.

Hello, I loved this animatic and it actually inspired to try to make an animatic of my own! I’ve been trying to figure out how to start but I’m kind of stuck. I was wondering what programs you use to make your animatics!( it would be very helpful)

Omg i’d love to!! This animatic was made almost entirely on Flipaclip. Although I’ve realised now Flipaclip is very time consuming for longer projects. But I still love how simple and easy it is to use. Also it’s free! My process for it tended to be to draw out the scenes on paper first (as I’m much better at physical drawings then digital) then to upload and trace them on a different layer on Flipaclip, after that I’d just animate however I wanted them to move using onion layers. Although the audio and watermark on flipaclip can be rather annoying. Another free program I’d 100% recommend is Davinci Resolve, it can be a little confusing at first, but after playing around with it for a bit (and watching heaps of tutorials on KZbin) it can be a very useful program! I’ve been using it to re-add audio as the quality is a lot better, and to edit the timings of the transitions bc it is SOOO much faster then working frame by frame on Flipaclip! Also if you're willing to pay for programs I’d definitely recommend Procreate, not just for animation but all digital art in general, I’ve improved my digital art so much by just playing around on it for a couple of hours! For all of my animatics I’m currently working on I’ve been doing all my drawings on there and uploading them as either a pdf or png (depending on if you want a transparent background or not, such as for title cards) and editing them on Davinci. Nowadays I’m only really using flipaclip for if I want a complicated ‘frame by frame’ animation and screen recording and importing it into Davinci for editing. But it’s a great place to start, and learn of the basic terminology and animation skills. I just got Procreate Dreams and I’ve found it insanely confusing, and for my next upload in a couple of days you can see some animation I’ve done on there, although it is pricey so I definitely wouldn’t start with it, but if you find animation is something you enjoy then I’d check out some run throughs of what it’s capable of and see for yourself if you think it’s worth it in the future. oop- this turned out super long… hopefully I answered your question somewhere in there and it’s not too confusing… I’m super excited to see your animatic if you upload it! And plz don’t hesitate to ask any other questions you have!!
