I've been following Aziz for a while now, and it continues to amaze me that he's not a household name. A genuinely great guitarist, with a love for the instrument.

I love people like Aziz. When people jump out of their stereotypes is the best thing in the world. To se a muslim rock/funk/ect...guitarist (like myself) just makes me feel warm and keep having faith in humanity xD. In the side note Salman Ahmad is verry simmilar to Aziz. With his Rock 'n Roll Jihad record. Its just awesome. No words to describe it. Thank you Rob haha

This has been the most enjoyable captain & Chappers video I have viewed. I've been fortunate enough to see Aziz with Ian Brown - and he was sensational. Big boots to fill by the way, following Squire.

Music is all in the soul. It doesn't matter if a player knows theory or not. music theory is just a plus. The people who made the music theory made it from nothing, it was all a matter of what sounds good. Stop geeking around and enjoy the music.

Rob, I'm not sold on the recording of the new dorje song (played at the end of this video). It's a great riff but I don't really like the baseline and the vibrato sounds a bit off, although I think it could be a great song. I'm definitely buying the album when it's out!
