Short story: I joined a free concert in the VR program VARK that cover used to hold concerts in, where they held the majority total share of their concerts. This concert turned out to be a Japanese jiisan demo singing a set list for about an hour in a simple girl's avatar. He looped through the songs twice and honestly struggled a fair amount through singing and had akward but upbeat talking in between and a small but supportive crowd using what little auto chat is allowed there. To me it sounded a lot like I had been stage test serenaded by big Y and I will never forget that possibility. ...was anyone else reading this there?

Yagoo did perform as Roboco to demonstrate the technology at a trade show once, but he didn't sing. He did say something about never having done that before in front of anyone outside staff, IIRC. There used to be a video of that here on KZbin that someone had subtitled in English.
