AZLA Xelastec TPE Eartip Review: Squishy and Snug

I brought it from you guy and it is really good. Before you guys have it I had to order it oversea. My feedback is so far after 2 months there is no colour change so far. Listen to IEM 1-2 hours everyday. But be mindful that these don't mean it will fit all ear in terms of the IEM. For example with the correct sizing the andromeda was perfect and improve in sound stage (it is a little wider then standard final tips). But put the same on on Final Audio B1 and it was too short and no matter the different size I just cannot get a comfortable fit. Washing tip, (DO NOT USE alcohol base liquid to clean these as it will destroy it and hardening afterwards, just warm soapy water to wash it). But a really good purchase and recommend people to buy the 3 pack different size if you are not quite sure. (I end up using different size for different IEM, some IEM tub is slightly thicker/thinner. Which can affect that small size difference requires. Plus thank you minidisc for that quick delivery, it looks amazing on the andromeda and sounds great for me.

Hello, may i ask if what changes does it do to treble region?

@@loonation2185 For me using the andromeda it has similar effect to the wide tips. Which is wider sound stage. The treble is less intense and feel more natural and calm to my ears. Please note fitting is also very important, which is why I would recommend getting the 3 pack of different sizing to get that deeper & perfect fit. Hope this helps.

@@sunnysunshine9016 nice, right now im using spinfit cp145 for my iems to reduce some peaks in 6khz and above, I think this would tame those nasty peaks more.

@@loonation2185 Have you try upgrading your cable? Like pure copper can increase warmth and lower the treble in most cases. Or a GOOD quality pure silver can smooth the treble, but you have to check. Best to audition it at the shop. I fine pure silver in the lower prices will increases the treble peak. (So try pure copper cable first).

@@sunnysunshine9016 Actually I intended to use this xelastec more so for my Toneking Shockwave iii wired ver. so swapping cables is not an option I just want to reduce the 5khz-6khz bump (not peak) on this iem and it would be perfect because Im sensitive to those frequencies. Although I do have my collection of cables too. Maybe Ill mod my sw iii to be mmcx removable.

I pair this tip with my moondrop starfield, because the metal casing of the iem is so heavy, it keeps fall our from my ear. This tips just stick to my ear canal, works like a charm.

I bought a pair for my sony wf-mx3. I like it more than spinfit cp360. However, it was a bit loose on the tip of the mx3 and i lost the other 1. Any tips?

Don't personally have this problem but people having different shaped left ears to their rights isn't unheard of.

@@AntiPixel1 lol i bought some, they are good but they miss shape way to easy, you have to keep them in all the time because if you take them out they never fit back in the same, they leak, pain to reshape too, they never go back 100% even with the hot water method

@@iDTecKt is there a chance you already had spinfits or other "grippy" eartips beside the azla? I got the problem that when I smile, the seal breaks for the standard tips. That's why I'm looking for tips that have that sticky surface. Since the Azlas allegedly aren't that good in longevity, maybe Spinfit W1 or Something like that?

@@AntiPixel1Ive tried them and there not as good, i just stuck with the default tips for my Timeless IEMS, the large white silicone ones, they dont trap the bass as well but at least i can remove and insert without issues, these would be good for the gym, its all personal preference at the end of the day good luck!
