Very informative. I appreciate all the research you do for the videos you post, that is what makes your post stand out amongst the other local off road videos.

Another fun trip and a great video. Thanks again for your hard work. We were just over that way to look at the Black Rock Mine and make the trip up Harquahala Mountain. It looks like we need to come back for another look.

At 12:32 is the shaft where I was 'greeted' by a rattlesnake for the second time that day some years back. The first 'greeting' was at the Monterey Mine up on the hillside about 1/4 the way up towards the summit. Needless to say, I keep my eyes open for these beasts.

Glad I didn't stumble across the 'welcoming party'. I had my eyes peeled for sure. We were out riding again this past weekend and still haven't seen a single one this year!

Interesting comment about government assessment of war minerals. My father in law was building a subdivision in Baker City, Oregon and struck minerals. It was manganese, a mineral used to harden steel. After he started mining the government shut it down to preserve it in case of war. Apparently one of the few sources of the mineral.

With all the bullet holes, looks like the Alaska mine could be opened up for lead also.

how come your dad never goes on these adventures with you? i see you guys go day trips with quads but never camping trips like this
@azoffroad_net3 жыл бұрын
Mainly due to days off/other projects around home. Quad rides are usually easiest since it only takes half a day. I'll try and convince him to come camping one day!

Me thinks you like the name harquahala mountains. Tongue twists and certainly not like it is spelled. Try on Port Hueneme! (Ca.) Why Nee Me

SHLM & HaB (peace & love). The Name of the Creator is Hayah asher Hayah, as what He told Mose (Exodus 3:14), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. There is a curse to the G-o-d name (Isaiah 65:11-12), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. All followers of the Messiah are to do the 7 appointed times (Leviticus 23), but no more animal sacrifices, following the Crucifixion of the Messiah. We are now of the order of MLK TSDQ (King, righteous), to Whom ABRaHM tithed. Ask the Messiah to be your personal Savior. He is the Atoning Offering for mankind for the remission of sin ( 1 John 2:1-2). He said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). If you believe the Messiah died on the cross, & Resurrected three days later (presenting Himself as First Fruits to the Father), please ask Him to be your Savior. He is the ONLY way to Everlasting Life.
