Great job! Getting all of that set up is a big accomplishment. Be sure to let us know how we can continue to be of assistance in keeping the water blue and clear!

For my first year water has been crystal clear when there has enough salt in the water to generate the chlorine. :) The challenges are that large amounts of rain will dilute the salt lower than idea saturation of 3200ppm. At end of August my PPM dropped to around 2700ppm and the unit stopped producing chlorine and the water started to look cloudy. Issue was fixed by adding more salt to the pool.

@@autoxadvice4159 If you find you're getting a lot of rain, you may try raising the salinity much higher from the minimum. For example, 4000ppm would be well within that system's operating range, then you can wait much longer before rain will bring the salt level too low.

Our summer in Michigan has had more rain than usual. However, thanks for the tip for next year and I'll add more salt to get me through the summer. Friends, and family that have used the pool love the softness of the water and not having the chlorine irritation while swimming. I can swim with my contacts in which I've never been able to do before in any pool.

This is the pump - waterwayplastics.com/product/power-defender-140-variable-speed-dual-voltage/ This is the filter. Though i had the filter only one year I'm not suggesting it nor am I suggesting it. It's not that popular and you may find that no one would want to install it or service it. waterco.us/pool-spa/centrifugal-filters/multicyclone-16-ultra Hope this helps.
