Am I the only person that uses Hall of Tagsin? It can be slow for some matchups but with 1 powerstone on the battlefield it's like an untapped land that produces any colour, and at its best it's ramping every turn or producing a lot of token fodder. I've been playing with a lot of azorius artifacts since your previous video with the Enigma Jewel and you were not wrong about the crazy potential of this card! I accidentally discovered a mass land (or any permanent) destruction combo. It needs about 5 or more cards to set up so it's not going to break the meta 😅 but watching your videos daily has inspired me to master the art of always drawing the cards I need and to avoid being on the draw. I'm not there yet but I'll keep trying.

I don't think you are the only one - I think we payed a Hall of Tagsin enjoyer with today's deck :D And absolutely cool to hear you are enjoying the Enigma - we will definitely get back to it on the channel as well :) I think this card can be a brewer's heaven, as you can make the most absurd combinations, if deck is well designed :) And don't worry - even today I still couldn't fully master the technique of being on the play - crucial mythic skill😂🤷‍♂️🦥

Really fun deck, looks great as usual! Sorry about the unusual misplay at 21:31, that was painful to watch... the mana you floated from Fabrication Foundry can only be used for artifacts, not land activations, and you could have used it to kill Sheoldred with the Sawblades. Deck came through for you, though!

Holy crap, bro...I seriously underestimated how good Braided Net is. You drew so many cards off that thing (9 cards one time), and I didn't realize that it can also neutralize planeswalkers in addition to creatures/other activated permanents!

Yeah, It is a pretty monster card in this kind of deck - especially as only 2 mana needs to be paid at sorcery speed, then you can just react until they miss the play -> Full Reload. I kinda glanced over this card, but in right deck it's powerhouse. Hopefully we see this type of decks more, glad you enjoyed!:)

In explorer it's even crazier. It goes well in a deck with WAR Saheeli, and she can turn other artifacts into a Braided Net to let them craft for 2 mana. That's a hilariously fast way to flip artifacts such as Azor's Gateway, Enigma Jewel, Brass's Tunnel Grinder, Throne of the Grim Captain, Golden Guardian, etc.

@@remigirard6423 Yes. It's still crafting, just with 1 artifact instead of 4 nonlands. Similarly, Throne of the Grim Captain can put it onto the battlefield if it was crafted with an artifact creature.

Wow. Just saw this deck and it has many of the same cards that I have in an Azorius artifacts lists I put together. Mine uses Urza planeswalker and Urza Kroog. Mondrak, mightstone weakstone, Encroaching Mycosynth and Mirror Box. I wonder how close the play lines are.

Glad you liked that one ^^ Yeah, Unfortunately we didn't get many control cards (more of anti-control cards in anything), so for control it's not easy to make new builds that are competitive. This one indeed is a very fresh, from the scratch approach, I really enjoyed it :) So yeah, know exactly what you mean. Thanks for watching and great comment man, appreciate it a lot :)

Don't see the exact timestamp, but I'll just assume you are right - I generally was a bit overwhelmed with how many options this deck has - I definitely played non-optimally, especially as commentary makes me make more misplays anyway, even if deck isn't as hard as this one :) Glad you enjoyed, and this deck is definitely much stronger than I showcased - if played perfectly :) Which I think all top decks should be like 🦥🔥

Yeah, we will definitely play with it more over time. Also, 1 mana mana stone that gives 2, is already pretty insane, add fact it fuels itself (missed it originally when reading the card) and also it is super flexible depending on build... Great design overall, imho. Card, where you can build full deck around it in infinite ways🔥

I'm really surprised that Treasure Map isn't in there. Perhaps it's a little too slow for the deck's strategy, and the 2-slot is crowded enough already?

Yeah, it also does the job of the net thingy worse - there you invest 6 mana and you can draw 5-7 cards, while it also helps defending you. Treasure map is more for decks that don't have such insane draw engine :) As you have seen, we usually had too much value, treasure map would hurt the build imho

thanks for playing this deck Sloth! My fav archetype in standard right now. Not the most powerful but a lot of fun. Throw in a singleton Urza, you’ll meld him more often than you think. Also, I’d totally underrated braided net! Gonna play around with it some more. Awesome vid!

Ye, it hurts, but most control decks run 1 farewell, so if you reload with net - you can do it again :) If you are smart about it, farewell is still winnable. If it gets you by surprise, that's another story 😂❤

Yeah, it hurt me too - but it's a cool deck if someone likes to delve into new styles - and slowly perfect them :) I think it was hardest deck I've played for ixalan

I think this is because it's too slow - with net thingy you have some insane mana sinks/card draws, so I rarely had situation when I would want to make a 3 mana 1/1. 1 Mirrex is more than enough imho
