What everyone forgets every time one of these seasonal events rolls around is that they're designed so that YOU CAN STOCK UP ON LEGENDARY SHARDS and BRIGHT DUST. That's it. I'm up 500 L.shards and 1,200 Bright Dust just from this weekend that I would not have gotten otherwise from the normal grind. Plus, I got a cool ship, and others can finally now get the Heir Apparent and the Catalyst. The Heir Apparent alone is worth the (much, much easier) grind if you didn't get it during Season of the Shitty Towers.

I was truly surprised at how much I was able to accomplish in terms of lighting the podiums, getting the glowy things on the shoulders, and whatnot... if you guys are deterred due to thinking about the time requirements for getting those things, I advise you to think again - this is the first time I'm actually considering doing the *whole event* for every reward possible for some reason. It just feels much more rewarding than other events thus far.
