Facts I swear 💯🤣 I played on bug match , bro it's easy compared to the terminator death machines ! On hard or challenging those mfs don't play , plus the longer you're present on the planet it gets harder

Shield trivializes bots. The tanks are slow, stupid, and super exploitable. Hulks are kinda problematic but get chunked in a single Railgun shot and bots are really easy to stealth by and use hit and run on solo. The most dangerous things about bots are getting blindsided by a rocket and the shield totally nullifies that possibility. Bugs are aggressive, always call a breach at objectives without fail, and have hunters, which are the single worst enemy type in the entire game. Fast, leap huge distances, do insane damage, and they crowd control you by removing your sprint. And it’s not just 3-4 of em at a time. Try 15 to 20 to sometimes 30 at once. They suck. Honestly though, helldive is only worth it for the memes. If you’re trying to farm samples, suicide is the way to go. Faster, more time to find the rock and do PoIs and nests/outposts for other samples, less stressful.

Hey Cross please make sure to tell the new divers Watching your content the basics. Things like, 1. All samples collected are SHARED. There is no such thing as stealing samples. 2. The shuttle will sit and wait so long as nobody gets in 3. In higher difficulties it's MUCH better to play stealthy than to shoot everything in sight. If you drop into a helldive and start shooting everything, don't get upset when you get kicked or die horribly again and again. I've been trying to help out newbies but they keep team killing me saying that I'm "stealing samples". PLEASE help the new divers and be a good influence on them cross

Try using stealth mechanics, they make a huge difference. It may not work as well on the bugs. But on the bots you can solo helldive without too much fuss by using stealth mechanics and hit and run tactics for objectives.

@Miwhe yep, I love the auto cannon so much, I got the rail gun and immediately swapped back. I will say though, if you are stuck on jump pack or want another backpack, use grenade launcher as a good substitute.

I’m impressed solo and using a jet pack instead of the shield is wild. I feel like the shield is a constant extra life that keeps you from getting CCD but man you did it. GG!

Imo, it's situational. I personally prefer the shield for bots, since most of their units are ranged, so you can immediately disengage and dip into cover to catch your breath. You can't really do that against swarms, especially solo, so any extra mobility where the swarm can't get to you immediately gives you a significant up.

​@syressx9098 What you mean it's the easiest one? Egg objectives require you to run into nests with swarms of bugs. There are other objectives where if you play stealthy, you don't need to fight anything, or at least not nearly as much as it takes to clear out the egg nest swarms.

Hello divers Quick tip from high command. You can switch your stratagem keys to the arrow keys. This allows you to run/sprint while calling in liberty from the sky. You have to let go of your mouse for a second but the trade off is worth it

I played a little of the 1st game but top I'm not really into top down shooters so I didn't play it as much but this one is just a ton of fun. Bruh, I love all these people ripping on Az saying he "sucks" at the game because he's not using light armor + railgun + shield. Ultimately he was successful and honestly props for not using the same copy-paste loadout all the clickbait content creators are telling you to spam missions with. Although that said here's to hoping they do a balance patch as part of their update roadmap; does not feel great to grind dozens if not hundreds of medals for new weapons only to have the other person/people in your squad with Breakers melting everything.

Also Jetpack + Flamethrower (that you are somehow convinced is ass, lol) not only makes you full bore Bounty Hunter, but also turns you into a human napalm strike. Just jump retreat with JP, and sweep the floor with fire and watch the bugs burn. Same idea can be applied with the Arc launcher in bot groups too, and it also gives you an extension of safety for bombing groups with stratagems AND impact nades.

I haven’t done it flawless but I have done a helldive dif solo with only 1 death so it’s definitely possible. I used light armor with the perk that lets you stay stealth easier , orbital laser, eagle 500kg, shield pack and rail gun with breaker. It’s not hard but just tedious and you got to be patient which I am not the best at. I believe in you all. Y’all got this. Go get that flawless!!

I set my stratagems to press ctrl so I don’t need to hold it down. Then changed the arrows to my arrow keys. That way I can sprint and move while still calling in my stratagems. You will have to take your hand off the mouse but I found it well worth it in higher difficulties.

I think you could solo no deaths with some cheese....planets with lots of elevation and either climb/jetpack to complete... smoke eagles work well too, just trigger the objective/holes, run them away from objective, smoke and go back

I personally run the railcannon with the orbital laser and then I have the backpack sheild with the GL and my survivability is crazy you can switch the GL with the rail so that you can actually fight the chargers. But this isn't a confrontational build at all I am pretty much on the run the whole time

I have had much success with scout (stealth) armor and being super sneaky. Pretty sure armor rating is still broken so there is no benefit to wearing heavy armor outside of passive.

Jet Pack option wouldn't work against Automatons. I managed to solo Suicide Mission against those autobots, but escaping is another story...

If you're using mobility, to extract 100% of the time, wait for the mission timer to end and the drop ship will call itself. Then survive the last 2 minutes without getting too close to extract and show up at the last second
