In controller it definitely would feel better but majority of d2 players are on pc now so you’ll see more people say that 180rpm HC’s aren’t that good (mainly because of ttk and recoil ) as well as crimson and wardens law just don’t feel great on MnK but can’t deny the damage with lucky pants

In pvp, it feels like a dueling pulse, kinda like bxr. With pulses I usually feel slow, having to peek and either secure the first shot or be outside my opponent's range to consistently win the gunfight, but with Warden and BXR I feel more confident in walking towards my opponent, strafing and sliding around a lot and throw some hipfire shots in between, as missing some of the bullets in a bursts isn't as punishing as something like a 120 or 140. Nice to have a weapon that feels like that in both slots now.

warden’s law has been pretty great. I put 48 vanguard engrams towards it and got like 3 mid rolls so that’s great. The one thing that truly holds the back is the fact that it is kinetic. You lose out on just so many synergies when you don’t have an element on your primary weapon. I would love to see either more synergy within subclasses for kinetics specifically, an increase to the damage of kinetics of elemental weapons, or two see some new aggressive burst hand cannons with elemental affinity and perks

In PvE I like to double cannon Warden's Law with Erianna's Vow because they deal with both champs and are DPS demons in rotation.

In PvE, I love Warden's Law on Stasis. That Rending+Frenzy combo is so good. I'm sad that it's in the kinetic slot because Verglas, Ager's and Eyasluna exist.

I wasn't a fan until I got my Adept one & then things clicked. Polygonal, Flared, Enlightened Action, Killclip, Range MW, Adept Stability Mod. Ideally I'd swap Flared Magwell for Accurized Rounds but otherwise it's superb. I've preferred high Stability on Hand Cannons for quite a while now & if you can get WL to around 50-60 Stability? It feels just as good, just as solid & consistent as a 120rpm with arguably a touch more Stability! Im glad my mate dragged me into the GM, the Adept version feels almost like a different HC.

I think with lucky pants people underestimate dropping 4th times's for perpetual motion or enlightened action, when you are not in a boss fight you can easily reach 26 mag with a mag mod slotted in and the major/boss speck is often overkill anyway against non boss enemies or certain minibosses, and it is much easier to use as you don't have to land headshots to get consistently huge dps, especially sice it's harder to control than malf or seventh seraph at longer ranges and when teammates turn enemies heads away from you. You could have this roll for big adds and certain encounters and swap for the 4th time's + vorpal loadout whenever you actually need that extra 10% boss damage.

Perfect 5/5 IMO is full bore, accurized, perpetual motion, zen moment, with a range masterwork and adept range. Can hit 100 range and perpetual makes up for the lower stability and handling

I personally like the weapon my only complaint is the perks felt very safe there was not unique perk or perk combo. And I understand new frame wanted to test the waters and that’s fine, but hopefully when we get new Heavy Burst frames, we can see some unique combos. I would love to see this frame get something like Headseeker that would be really cool and would make it stand out. Would it be broken, maybe, but I think it would be worth trying it out at the very least

Yeah, but if you aren't a hunter main I don't see a reason why anyone should use it for PvE while Chattering Bone, Transfiguration, The Summoner SMG, Randy's, Spare Rations, Hung Jury, and Supremacy are all weapons with Kinetic Tremors and will output more damage than Warden's Law. Plus with the other multiple options for the Kinetic slot, Wardens Law gets outclassed compared to other more effective and efficient weapons. Wardens Law is mostly just a Lucky Pants gun for Hunter and that's it. Other than that I don't see it really fit anywhere else in the sandbox for it to really be a viable option.

i did some quick testing, and just raw primary dps as a normal handcannon for us titans and warlocks was higher than fatebringer+explosive rounds. Would love to see a video on how aggressive frame stacks up against other frames (at base) in pve damage wise since it's a brand new frame

I have one fully loaded into Range only missing a range MW but sitting at 88, 98 with Adept Range. The perks I have are Enlightened Action and Frenzy and before anyone says anything I understand once Frenzy is active EA becomes moot HOWEVER I find this combo actually makes it feel significantly more consistent. Frenzy assumes you're in combat for 12 seconds with I believe 5 seconds between encounters. In PvP this comes and goes and I found that having both makes the handling and reload feel nice in whatever sort of fight I get into. It makes it a great weapon to use in any content imo. Of course I have a FTTC + Vorpal to use with Lucky Pants but man, the EA + Frenzy roll just feels great to use and the lack of stability really doesn't feel that bad once you're used to the recoil control (on M+KB)

Even though Warden's Law has 97 Recoil Direction, the Deterministic Recoil on it makes it feel weird. I would suggest getting a barrel like Extended Barrel to top it off to 100 and give a boost to range. Then kinda treat it like a pulse rifle in that you'll need to focus a bit on stability. I have several adept rolls including two different PvE god rolls, but my favorite for both PvE and PvP has been: Extended Barrel, Flared Magwell, Perpetual Motion, Rampage, Range MW, and Adept Stability for the mod A bit slower reload than Enlightened Action or Frenzy but consistent. PM also gives it a slight bump in stability to help land shots. Not sure why 97 Recoil feels bad in PvP but it does, and getting it to 100 makes the gun feel much more consistent.

Not if you a solo player. Solo pve single target primary is not a good choice. Add clear is king for solo, save Power and super for single damage. Ideally you want your Kinetic for red bars your Energy for Yellow and Power for bosses, spam neutral as much as possible and save Super only when you need it. Personally I like to find a weapon I like and pretty much use it exclusively with abilities. Last season was Centrifuge with Arc soul warlock & pulse grenades, this season it's Quicksilver with Maelstrom Hunter & Grapple. I'm hoping next season will be a Solar Titan or whichever stasis class is strongest - depends on the seasonal artefact.

I never got the Fttc vorpal but I did get fttc frenzy and idk if I’d prefer vorpal I understand the appeal to it but if you’re using it in general as a primary that can be used by any class or paired with lucky it just doors t stand out to me I understand if you’re baking a champ or boss with just that then I’d agree but with the meta shifting from double special and using a primary weapon more it’s just more logical to lose the 5% damage from vorpal to frenzy and get the extra bonus at all times when using it as a primary and not as a special weapon with infinite ammo with only lucky pants

I love using my adept warden law in pvp im not the best with it but it quickly became my favorite hand canon because of the flinch it induces. It does require me to be semi closer than some others but but it just feels so good for me (mnk user btw) Edit: also the roll i have is moving target/enlightened action and rampage

Must’ve done 40 GMs last week, hoping for the pve roll. I don’t think I got a single drop with Vorpal lol, but I did land a Smoothbore, acc round, enlightened, KC, Range MW roll. If you have the vanguard engrams you can focus at Zavala for the non adept roll. Considering that legendary shards are getting removed from the game not far from now, it might be a good way to spend them. The only thing you'll be missing for a pve non adept roll is having to use boss speck instead of big ones speck, which honestly isn't much of a loss considering the dps is already overkill against majors at base. I also advise you to keep rolls with vorpal and a reload perk, like enlightened action and perpetual motion: you have to slot in a mag extender mod to reach 26 rounds, so you'll loose the boss speck dps, but it is much easier to use against non boss enemies because you don't have to land headshots to get consistently huge damage. This is true unless i missed something and 4th time's doesn't drop on non adept rolls, because of all the rolls i got i don't think i ever saw one yet.

I will still prefer Malfeasance over my Warden’s Law with Lucky Pants 99% of the time. There’s more forgiveness, more range (due to the explosive rounds), intrinsic Unstoppable, etc. Warden’s Law is “better” on paper BUT, in practice, most enemies are not a big unmoving enemy with a giant crit spot. Malfeasance is still king with Lucky Pants.

People have the god roll for this all wrong everyone is going for damage perks and I understand that, but you can’t get those damage perks to kick in if you have an inconsistent gun. I went flawless this weekend with a moving target / zen moment roll & I truly believe that is the true god roll for this gun. No damage perk but honestly and truthfully wildly consistent compared to other rolls I’ve used.
