played all those games except Siren and Bloodbourne but SOCOM was my favorite tactical shooter of all time grew up playing SOCOM 1 all the way through SOCOM 4 played every console SOCOM game MAG was fun and Resistance and LittleBigPlanet and inFamous was awesome too and ofc Killzone was also fun but yeah too bad those game are lost to time Sony could've made more games with the money they put into Concord but oh well.

There is a metric truck load of well established western coverave for monster hunter since world in 2018 bought it firmly into the western market i can assure you of that. Arrekz, rurikan, rage gaming, game economist, gaijin hunter, team darkside etc etc. Not to mention the plethora of speedrunners that define meta sets and strategy on their own channels. Theres been a reasonably strong western community and group of creators since 4 ultimate when the game really started to find its feet. We were playing on nintendo 3ds back then😅 pretty misleading to suggest theres a lack of coverage or has ever been a lack of good coverage for the series

All the others are better youtubers but the following they have seems to be pretty niche having another youtuber with a completely different and more mainstream following would be helpful to monster hunter not detrimental. Most speed runners define a meta for other speed runners you’re talking about a small group from a pretty niche game so their influence across other games is pretty minimal as well. More exposure is better so that being said would be great if Cross or even someone like sweatcicle started playing monster hunter. Man I remember playing Tri on the wii and buying a Wii U just for Tri ultimate and then getting a 3ds for MH4U that game was a beast of a monster hunter game to be on such a small system. It’s humbling to think where we are as monster hunter fans now.

@@RlVlN well from what I gather it will play more like Assassins creed. Narrative will build up to a goal. And in Ghost of Tsushima the Goal was stop Mongols. Get back lord shimura. There is an established Enemy faction right oof the rip. So in the new ghost most likely you will make enemies or from what trailer suggests the character is outlawed. So payed assassin will be the main enemy source. We will have to see how the story plays out. But Hopefully gameplay is at least like its predecessor.

Even as someone who enjoyed Horizon through the first playthrough, its remaster is not justified. @@POOCOMESFROMFOOD Ah the classic P is for Pain. I definitely agree that not knowing something is coming is wayy more enjoyable, especially with DDLC. That first time really was absolutely magical. Though, I'd say it's still worth it to go play and experience. From what I've seen with other playthroughs, people still really enjoy the game/it really affects them (though, as you say, maybe not as much as they could) and are able to get invested into the characters even while knowing that it's heading in a horrible direction. I think it's still worth a try.

Then PS2 came out and Raziel was brought even more tangibly into my gaming consciousness with the superb Soul Reaver 2. Cross you absolutely need to play Doki Doki, it starts off like a dating sim but things get weird really fast, the shock is part of the fun so its hard to explain without giving it away but DAMN this game will haunt you :D

Seriously, what bangers were there other than Ghost of Yotei? That was the only thing that looked remotely good. And we'll be waiting at least a year or two after it releases before we get the best version of it on PC.
