Correction: 10:36 Z52's first skill in the video says "Main Fleet ships in the wing positions", but it actually should refer to only the topmost Main Fleet ship (i.e. right of Flagship within Fleet Formation menu). This makes sense since otherwise this skill would be triggering too much (conflicting launches/salvos). So my review of her doesn't change at all, since that is how I largely interpreted it despite the typo.

My thoughts on the new ships. Fritz Rumey: I was surprised at first to see her, and her Grossflugzeugkreuzer A II basis. But now she's grown on me. A stoic warrior with a Tsundere side is an idea I wish more factions get. Z52: I'm a bit sad they went with the fictional member of the Type 1942 destroyers and not the real steel Z51, but not super mad. But either way, I still like Z52's design and the techno punk biker girl thing she's got going on. Duisberg: My absolute favorite of the new ships, no doubt about it. She looks like Topaz from Honkai: Star Rail but she's now a big titty goth GF and just dummy thicc all around. I'm guessing she'll have a big sister personality. Z9: While I do think she's the weakest of the designs, I still love her. She's so precious and you just want to protect her, plus her hair is just super fluffy. You just want to give her head pats and brush her hair. Z11: Another addition to the "Dunny thicc DD" club, and the punk goth design to her outfit is very interesting. She would very much belong as a character in the anime Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions. Admiral Hipper META: I do like her design, especially since my Arknights coded brain makes me think that she has what looks like Oripathy lesions on her left leg. However, I'm still of the belief that META ships shouldn't be in the gacha pool. So I'd maybe swap her out for either of the two Deutschland class pre dreadnoughts that served during WWII in some way, those two being either Schlesien or Schleswig-Holstein.

Fritz classified as a CV does makes sense as the A II design was only 203mm guns. If she had been a BBV like kearsarge then youd also have to classify Lexington as a BBV because she had 8 inch secondaries. Ironically she has more than Fritz design does. 8 vs 4 guns in lexingtons favour. The german A III and A IV design would probably be a BBV as it was designed to use 11 inch guns.

The really ironic thing is that both Lex and Sara had their 8"/203mm guns replaced shortly after the US entered the war. Lex had hers swapped with 1.1"/28mm "Chicago Piano" quads before she sailed on her fateful voyage to the Coral Sea. Sara had hers replaced with the ubiquitous 5"/38 (127mm) twin turrets as she was being repaired for her first torpedo hit at Mare Island.

So, minor correction to Z52 that came about from the TL team after you compiled this video - her second and third skill do not care about the debuff. They only count main gun shots - so the first skill triggers every three main gun shots and the second skill triggers every six main gun shots.

10:10 as Yu-Gi-Oh player, I think "Heart of Thundering Fire" is rather to be Keyword since it also mention in other skill, and I think it's a good choice since we don't have to call it "That MG ghost gun" in other skill, also since she got 170% MG eff, I think the choice it Sakura Rainbow MG from Lab, since it has more range and better damage than blue eagle union gun, and it also give some AA stats

Unless I'm missing something, Z52 equipped with any reasonably fast gun would be at 15 stacks in less than 5s. That seems like an okay wait for the ghost AA gun.

Assuming the IJN UR gun from the gear lab, she would get to a reload time of about 1s, so she'd need about 15s to get to max stacks. Remember, she needs to fire her main gun to get a single counter, and unlike Mogador for example, she doesn't have MGM+1.

@@baptistebrochot135 I was under the assumption that each bullet of the barrage would add a stack. Per shot it'd take around 10s with the Twin Kai as baseline it's already .9s so Reload gets you down around .7. Slower for sure, but still gives reasonable coverage.

Everyone perceive it as Dish being lazy. I perceive it as Dish rush the work for Yunsang who's still busy and Manju being too stingy to pay him extra and use the redrawn art anyway. Guess because they scheduled which ship girl got the new art and which new ship girl got the debut. Oh and Dish just taunted the haters instead of shut up or calm them down eventho there are people have faith that it's not his fault.

I think the main gripe I saw was that is was largely a reused concept from a fanart he did years ago. I definitely think he did a bunch to clean up the OG version into the one that made it into the game though. All in all I'm not a Taihou fan though.

Mogador has a pretty good niche in Single target boss battles which makes her extremely useful in Meta Auto 1 shots.

Yes because of her slow they will compete. Fritz is generally going to be better against Light and Medium armor enemies. Implacable does have a full complete STOP instead of just a slow. So that could be more valuable to you in certain situations. Not bad to bring both, but top tier meta fleets will probably being subbing Fritz in and keeping the higher DPS CVs.

Fritz is considered BiS for light/medium as well as possibly the best carrier in the game (aside from unicorn retrofit for mob fleets) all around depending on gear. Z52 is, with the math checking out, the strongest DD in the game, borderline dwarfing Laffey 2 in every single fleet aside from a SPECIFIC fleet where laffey 2 gets buffed enough to compete. Her damage output is higher, and her debuff is VERY strong. This event released a ship that is top of it's class, which is really really nice tbh since they are relatively low invest (no UR planes, etc). Edit: Z52's damage output is above Hindenburg's by a considerable amount. Fritz's damage in the BiS team for medium armour is about a 5% buff, and she uses only SR planes whereas the competition takes mostly UR planes in the calculation.

The amount of planes is completely irrelevant. A ship could have only one plane, as long as that slot has 1300% efficiency, it would still deal more damage per airstrike than any other UR CV. Fritz Rumey however has the lowest total efficiency of all UR CVs and lower AVI, because of the missing 3rd plane.

This event is kinda whatever ngl no new UR gear and only a "good" UR dd which is underwhelming to say the least. Fox carriers are way too strong tbh they can probably slap medium armor anyway. On the other hand Yorktown 2 rerun means a free 2nd UR divebomber plane

@@sb17899 Dishwasher stans are a weird bunch. He's a good artist, we get it, but there are a ton of amazing artists ready to take on that spot. His absence won't even be felt in-game as AL never misses when it comes to designs. People move as if Dishwasher was the only great artist left. This is why you don't put crazies on a pedestal. The real reason why people care so much is because his persona is popular, there are other high profile artists working for Manjuu that don't get the same attention.

That happens over time as games get older (7 years for AL so far). I think they've done a good job keeping content fresh and engaging imo. Dish definitely didn't deserve all the hate he got though. Interesting comment about the 2D vs 3D because 1) what made you want to support them in the first place given it started as well as always planned to be 2D and 2) they just for the first time started implementing 3D content (much to the demise of old phones trying to run the game).
