My base and top coat must be a bad batch. It keeps the dip wet and never get the matte look. I couldn't even dust the powder off because it was so wet.

Did you like the liquids? I've almost bought this set like 10 times but I'm on the fence lol I just bought the triple vitamin base and the tomicca base coat and activator. I am also signing up for Sparkle & Co Subscription this month and I plan on getting their liquids too. I like having options and I am new to dipping so I want to find what I like best! 💅🏻🥰

If it weren't for you 2 I wouldn't know what I'm doing. I just did my very set of dip nails 4 days ago and I was pretty proud of myself. I usually do my nails super super long but since it was my first time I went really short. When the pandemic started I started doing my own nails with polygel, and I loved my nails, yes but removing the polygel really put my nails through hell. My nails are so damaged from 14 years going to the salon so I'm trying to find the best way to do my nails. I think dip is really going to help. Along with yours and Marla's tips my nails are on their way to health! Lol

What’s the difference between the liquid for the kit and the ones from this video?

hi! my best tips are to apply very thin and even layers of base, and also use a file to really thin down and shape the nails 🤍

katesnails I tried that and it worked amazingly! Thank you 😊 I also wanted to ask if you experience gummy esa after you use activator? I waited 2 min after I applied it to file, but they were so gummy and then started to come off when I filed it. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you!

Does anyone know if these powders can be laid with monomer instead of using the dip system?

hi! since dip powder is finely milled acrylic, you could possibly use them with monomer. however, i’m not sure how well it would actually work.

@@katesnails thanks! I know some work just fine for doing designs with monomer as long as it's capped and built with clear, but some don't work at all, I guess it will be trial and error with this brand as I've never used it on any way before.. fingers crossed mine turn out s lovely
