hey guys! i’ve gotten a lot of comments asking how long this set of nails lasted, and i found that it lasts anywhere from 2.5-4 weeks depending on how well you prep your nails as well as how hard you are on your nails :)

Just a tip for any beginners watching!! Cuticle oil before polish will cause it to peel, you should make sure your nails do not come in contact with any oils before the top coat is on. Don’t even touch your hair or face because the oils will transfer and the polish will not adhere properly. -a professional nail tech :)

I was having the same issue. What I found was to wipe off a bit more of the polish brush before starting at your cuticles on the second &third layers. This will prevent "flooding" where too much liquid pools around the cuticle and causes uneven coverage. Good luck

i didn’t use activator in this case because i did not use resin with the dip powder. i used gel which does not need to be activated as it cures fully with a lamp. so therefore if you use resin you would need to apply the activator :)

Q White You cannot use regular nail Polish as a substitute for the gel polish. Regular polish would not adhere the dip powder to the nail. There is a resin/glue that can be used for dip Powder that does not require a lamp (UV or LED). If you use resin with the dip powder you could use regular polish on top clear or colored.

Hi question here. You put the cuticle oil on before the gel nail polish but wouldn't the oil cause the polish to not stick as good. Wouldn't it be better to apply after the whole entire manicure is done. Isn't the point of the dehydrator and the rubbing alcohol to get rid of any oil and other stuff on the nail?
@katesnails4 жыл бұрын
hi! you are completely right. i added cuticle oil in between to show that you could wear the nails as is or apply the gel polish after. i made sure to fully remove the excess oil before gel polish application because it could interfere with the adhering of the gel.
