Huge props to Jiyan as well in the story, yeah I know the MC was the one that killed it but Jiyan really did well in supporting Rover both in story & in game (cuz I would have died if I would solo that boss using the Trial MC only)

Ya it is a bit off with presentation because it is meant to be presented by a Chinese storyteller as if he is telling a story about a Hero in a wuxia theme story but due to how it is spoken in English, it is a bit off in the rhythm for the words.

Not to mention with the cast being mostly british accent people, there will obviously be a distinct tone not matching with the original intent of the presentation due to how it would normally be present in another language due to accent for the two languages. It is still possible to give that distinct feeling with another language but it also requires the presentation to be voiced into accounting for the different in languages involving accents, tone, and mannerism for the language they are using. There been moments in Withering Waves english voice acting that been a bit obvious they been trying to force themselves to speak in a way or accent the voice actors are not used to and we know some voice actors were told to try to speak in a more american accent with their characters and try not to sound british.
