AzurPoly - Transall C160 | WALK-AROUND | Introduction Part 1 by Max

Hello and welcome in the first video of a range of multiple introduction and tutorials dedicated to the Transall C160 for Flight Simulator 2020.
We are pleased to finally preview our (old) new born.
This video is a simplified introduction of the aircraft. A complete and proper one would take hours!

The ambient sound when you turned on the battery was fantastic, what a great job in the sound department. Love to have this very strange plane available, looks awesome and very interesting to fly. I also have the Fouga Magister which is awesome.

Thank you very much for bringing this airplane into MSFS, it will be a day one buy for me. I see that Ratier-Figeac logo is missing on the propellers blades, is it possible to add it ? I'm working in this company and it would be nice to see it on your plane.

Wow! I flew this plane in the 80's, as flight engineer. I have to say I'm really impressed by your rendition even if I see some systems, mostly avionics, quite different of the ones of those days. Some labels also are different for example the APU was labelled GTG(Groupe turbo générateur) but anyway this is already outstanding. Keep up this awesome work you're gone get a new customer for sure! We've made the choice to transalte labels into english. In our previous aircrafts, we've been blame to use only french...

@@azurpoly FMC does not work. The bag AP and altitude is very amateur. Even the DC-3 had Garmin/Bendix GPS and nav/AP etc retrofit by Asobo. I cannot hand fly this for hours on end.

Was this originally a FS2004 aircraft? The texture models are so low res.

@@azurpoly je vais continuer à croiser les doigts alors 😉 mais à l'heure où dcs met de plus en plus en avant la logistique (avec le C130 Hercule et le Chinook), je pense que ça pourrait être un bon mouvement pour vous (en terme de vente) et pour nous (au vu de la qualité tout bonnement impressionnante !). En tout cas, merci beaucoup pour la réponse 😉

Bonne nouvelle ! Peut-être est-ce dû à l'effet grand-angle de la balade, mais je trouve le tôle de protection du fuselage (à 2:32) vraiment très épaisse et montant un peu trop haut également.

There already are 2 german liveries in the package. But we want to remind that this version is C160 NG based, so German C160D variant won't be 100% accurate.

If there is no FMC upon release, what means of navigation do we have until then? will some form of gps be inserted?

VOR & NDB navigation should be available.

You say the FMS is basic, will the FMS have the option to add waypoints? If that is how this aircraft navigates.

Just bought it, just flyin' it and right now I have only one thing to complain... sitting in the cockpit there is a very annoing sound underlayed to the engine noise... sounds like a never ending "kacklacklacklacklacklacklacklacklacklack"...... it may be in the real Transall but in the game it really spoils the otherwise superb engine noises. and kind of wants me to land and never hear that "klacklacklacklacklacklacklacklack" again... please pleeeeeease get rid if it in the next update 😭

@@Voltomess well it got an update. That annoying sound is gone. I LOVE to fly it and it sound great now. I fly in VR and I normaly fly completly without any support from things like autopilot or flight plan so I can't say mucht about it system wise. Flight characteristics are awesome like the twin otter but bigger if real or not I have never flown the real deal. Since msfs is not very realistic after all... but I love flying the Transall. Especially combat landings on short fields or even somewhere in the landscape are great!!!! Transport missons would be cool.
