We need more adult concepts like this in kpop! Are these a thing of the past now? Also, I think this does actually feature the song "Coma" as well?

i love seeing people discover b.a.p they really changed the game and would've been one of the biggest kpop groups still at the top, wasn't it for their terrible company basically destroying them. please check out other videos by them, skydive is another movie-like production with a great song, and came out not that long ago. i got a chance to see them live in 2017 and honestly, that was one of the best concerts i've ever attended. great stage presence, intricate choreos, outstanding live vocals, god tier rap line, all that with a message in each song. they deserved the world and so many people failed them.

Really miss those days/era of Kpop. So many amazing groups and the music and style was so good and a lot of them were hype songs with great hiphop beats mixed in and the dark badass concept which I love and we also didn't have all these extreme fanwars and social media wasn't what it is now with all the constant cyber bullying and toxic people trying to cancel and destroy idols they don't like or spreading rumors and false info before finding out if its even true or not. Just seemed like simpler days back then where most people got along or at least were respectful and idols/groups were more public with their friendships and talking to each other or hanging out. I agree, B.A.P was/ becoming the biggest group and they went against what was normal for most kpop and wrote songs about really life issues that are important and the problems in the world or their personal experience (like mental health) during a time where it wasn't accepted or suppose to be/common talked about there (not sure that's the right way or correct way to explain what I mean) every song had a meaning or important message. They would have huge right now if it wasn't for that horrible and disgusting company ruining and destroying them. I'm glad they are free from it and I hope one day they will comeback and make music together

Thank you for reacting to B.A.P! You actually got it right, there are 3 songs in that MV, the opening is "Punch" and the one in the middle and end is "Coma". The song "One Shot" means that you only have one chance of life so don't waste it into meaningless things~ B.A.P has a strong and intense image, when they debuted they got really famous because they brought out songs about social issues rather than romance which rather popular on that era. They were on par with EXO at that time, but their company ruined them that cause them have to go on a long hiatus... And that's how they became so underrated now💔 If you like concept like "One Shot", you might like to check "Skydive", it's 10 minute long but you won't regret it. Or maybe you could check out their debut song "Warrior", it has the same vibes as "One Shot"💖

Thank you for reacting to B.A.P. They were and will always remain my ult group. They are the reason I began listening to Kpop in the first place. I loved how many genres of music they touched from hiphop, to rock, to r&b, to pop, to electric/dance...they had so much talent. A recent group that resembles closest to them now in terms of members (dancers, rappers, vocalists, visuals) presence, performance, genre make-up, and off-stage personality, I feel, is Ateez. Ultimately, the group's demise was unjust and the industry lost. Some of my personal faves from them are Coma (Rock Version), Punch (Rock Version), No Mercy, Crash, Coffee Shop, Hurricane, and One Shot, but I truly loved all of their music. There wasn't a skip song for me.

So if you want more MVs like that Yongguk (the leader of BAP with the deep voice) did a song called "I Remember" and I remember loving the dark MV for that and the fact that Yoseob from Highlight (formerly B2ST) featured for vocals. A lot of BAP's stuff is more hard hitting, it's why I got so into BTS when they first came out. I was excited to see another group go hard hitting like BAP. Warrior, Power, Badman, Skydive, 1004 (one of my faves), Wake Me Up, all of those are BAP and I think you'd like the aesthetic, at least, if not the songs too. BAP were great in concert as well. The vocals were insane. Song Ji Eun of Secret came out with a great MV for her song "Going Crazy" featuring Yongguk. Brown Eyed Girls "Sixth Sense" Block B "Nililli Mambo" and "Toy" As someone mentioned down below, VIXX is always good for elaborate and darker concepts. They're seriously amazing and I've seen them in concert too. Hyde, Chained Up, Fantasy, Voodoo Doll, etc.

B.A.P stands for Best. Absolute. Perfect (no I am not making that up its the actual meaning haha) B.A.P are amazing! Amazing songs and even if some of their MVs are dated looking they are still freaking cool. And you are hearing two songs, they often will feature a bside in their mvs that have story lines. Zelo did that cool dance move and yes he can do it in real life. He and Jongup are fantastic dancers. If you want unique concepts you gotta check out VIXX. Often called the concept kings of K-Pop. nobody looks or sounds like VIXX does. -Voodoo Doll (original ver) (horror concept. original choreo was banned from some stations so they had to alter it due to violent imagery) - if you are squeamish well warning now lol -Error (sci-fi concept) -Chained Up (BDSM concept lol the album came with a slave contract :P) -Fantasy (hard to describe fantasy - epic or dramatic maybe) -Shangri-la (more fantasyeque - cultural)

Thank you so much for reacting to them. I thought I should clear some things up. B.A.P debuted in 2012 with their debut song Warrior so they are one of the first 3rd gen kpop groups. They sadly disbanded in like 2018/2019 since they left their shitty company. But they all have solo careers right now except Himchan but he has started working on new music since he took a hiatus. B.A.P actually stands for Best Absolute Perfect. The one who impressed you with his vocals was Jung Daehyun. He was the main vocalist of B.A.P and is one of the best vocalist in the kpop industry. The one who did the move with his back was Zelo and yes he did that move for real but he only used it for the MV and not for any of the performances for the song. He was the lead rapper, lead dancer and the maknae of the group. This song has two other songs from the EP which are Punch and Coma mixed in the MV. And yes this video has no captions since its old but their newer once have captions on the 1thek channel. They are notorious for badass concepts and the fact that someone always dies. If you want to watch another movielike MV and that's skydive by them which was released in late 2016. Although B.A.P has a badass image they are actually really dorky and awkward in real life. I recommend you to check out a guide on them to get more info about them. Also they have tried other concepts then dark ones. For example Fun concept: Stop it Cute concept: where are you? Chill concept: coffee shop. I will leave you some recommendations in a separate comment to react to. Also they are very versatile with genre and style so you will for sure find something you like.

Okay, B.A.P. Debuted in 2012, the same year as Exo, and that means they’re a 3rd generation group, and their name stands for Best Absolute Perfect….since they are tied for my ult group I really appreciate that you reacted to them at all…..they were insanely popular since debut and even a rival to Exo, but then they filed a lawsuit against their company and all momentum they had had before disappeared when they were inactive for almost 2 years…some people like to say they were BTS before BTS because they started with the same hard hiphop base, but they always had rock influence in their songs too, and their style evolved over time…the group doesn’t exist as it did before, but them pulling a Highlight is what we all hope happens…they’re all doing solo work now, but they do still do songs and even concerts together, so we keep hoping they’ll come back formally…..also, that’s Zelo whose dancing you were impressed with, and no, he was not on a string, he’s just that talented….I was also going to say that the music was so different in parts because they are actually weaving 3 different songs together for the narrative, the intro is part of the song Punch, then One Shot, of course, and the song between during the more quiet part of the story that you were comparing to James Bond was part of the song Coma, all from the same mini album….. I was going to say that there are still pretty hard videos coming out in kpop whether like this one or like horror with a little gore, but they’re the minority, but they’re also literally hundreds of kpop groups out there so you’ve barely scratched the surface of every type of group and videos that are out there

My boys B.A.P!!!! Where do I begin... In my opinion they set the bar in Kpop.They have the best debut in my opinion. If their company wouldn’t of ruined them...they could of been as big as many of the big groups now. Well actually when BTS debut they were criticized for “trying” to be like B.A.P, but they weren’t the only one that were trying this hip hop/rap style we got a lot groups who started doing it as well. B.A.P were very versatile. They are amazing live one of my favorite concerts along with Day6, and the Rose!!! I will never get over the fact that they had to go their separate ways... although 4 out of the 6 members got together recently for a fan meeting. 5 of them have released solo stuff which I love and support. I will always love and support these talented boys!! I can go on forever talking about. I hope you can react to multiple videos so you can see their versatility.

this is like my favourite kpop song ever, and I only got into kpop in 2018. I actually mostly listen to kpop from this era because it's seriously just so good. There's something about that early 2000's pop vibe that I can't resist. I'm looking forward to the day when it becomes socially acceptable to like this kinda music again lol

If you want another MV similar to this then I suggest their song Skydive because its another mini movie like this, but longer and it has another twisted story and plenty of guns and shooting lol. It also has two of their other songs mixed in like this one for certain parts of the storytelling. No one in kpop has mv/concepts like B.A.P thats what makes them so unique and stand out

I honestly love almost all of B.A.P's title tracks. The other ones you should watch are probably wake me up and 1004 (Angel) (which is my fave). Honeymoon is also good. You should also check out the stuff that Bang Yongguk has done outside of the group (he's the leader). AM 4:44 and Hikikomori are good places to start.

Their first two-parter Cry Cry and Lovey Dovey is a crime genre revenge story, and their second two-parter Day by Day and Sexy Love is a post apocalyptic Mad-Max esque drama.

There are parts of other songs from their album in the mv. That's why the song sounds different in places. Don't discount second/early third generation Kpop groups. There's way more originality amongst the second gen groups than there is now. As for Super Junior, if you haven't already, check out their latest song 2YA2YAO or their track Lo Siento. I think you might be surprised. Also if you like B.A.P., try Block B as well - Very Good, Nillili Mambo and Nalina.

1st Gen: 90s-2000s 2nd Gen: 2000s - 2011 3rd Gen: 2012 - 2015 4th Gen: 2016 - now 3rd Gen is shorter since Kpop really started to grow around that time and lots of new groups started coming out.
