THE GOOD OLD TIMES OF THE BLUES … AND IN THE TV.
Today I upload 12 videos. Together they make up for one only TV-Show… more than 5 hours about the Blues.. including the interview, documentaries, and video-clips.
B.B. King was in an interview with John Walters (1939-2001), “Arena Blues Night” BBC 2 on 27 July 1985. - Riley B. King, (RIP 1925 - 2015), was probably at that time the most competent musician to reminisce about other musicians and to illustrate the real Blues. He also tells about his youth, his work ad career, and his music heroes. Always nice and pleasant, not one negative word. - This show was at that time, in 1985, video-taped directly from the TV to 2 VCR cassettes by a good soul - Dana Gillespie - hawksmoorpubli... - an English Blues Singer who cherished these cassettes for 35 years - until the VCR machine broke down. - The quality of picture and sound have suffered from the (swinging on the roof-) antenna, deterioration of magnetic tapes, and the conversion from VHS .. HDD recorder .. DVD .. VOB .. MP.4 .. Wonderhshare .. KZbin. Could still be OK for Blues lovers, this being a document of one and more historic moments in our music. For Videos and video-clips which are still commercially available please refer to the link to purchase the film. For the others we hope that it was OK to include them here.
