Yes, she had so many good scenes in the early years. It's shocking that she had to wait 13 years to get an Emmy for B&B. Then to get 3 in a 4 year span. I wonder if it was because Bold was 1/2 hour and has less voters to even get her nominated.

Ronn Moss, Susan Flannery and John McCook did a fantastic performance and this is when Throne refused to accept that Caroline never loved him as a husband and enough to have sex with him, but she loved Ridge as a husband and enough to have sex with him and kept it a secret, because Caroline knew it was Ridge she was making love to Stephanie assumed Caroline thought it was Throne!

This is what bugged me about this show and still does. Men get away with everything don't they? When men play dirty it's always "boys will be boys" or "just an innocent prank". While the lady becomes a slut or a whore. Talk about double standards. To be quite honest, Ridge has committed rape... twice, if I recall correctly. Once with Caroline here when he technically "raped" her while she was lying drunk and semi conscious and second with Brooke when she was out cold on some medication. If you don't call that rape I don't know what you would call it. I clearly remember Brooke being traumatized after it.

Only thing she said, what are you doing so didn't resist.I don't see it as rape but if you do then Taylor raped Ridge when he was durg and Thomas raped Caroline. I don't see any of these causes as rape. Now the other guy clearly raped Brooke. She was fighting him him. Actually thought Brooke was going to kill him and be in the same situation as Sharon dorn Y&R.

Ridge’s fault here 100%. Caroline May have been very drunk and never could’ve imagine Ridge would slip into her bed. Very far-fetched, but you could see how that might be possible. In Brooke’s case, it was totally ridiculous. She wasn’t impaired in anyway...only wearing a mask and had been with Ridge many times, was married to him. Just a totally ridiculous storyline.

Boy, the music and the dramatics of that last scene. It reminded so much of Scarface even down to the music. Ridge/Caroline/Throne story was definitely a throwback to Bill/Laura/Mickey (DOOL) even how Stephanie tells the story about Ridge/Caroline having drunk sex but Bill actually raped Laura when he came over and she ended getting her pregnant with Mike.

Susan Flannery was GORGEOUS! I mean she was a stunningly beautiful woman; why on Earth did she let herself go?! Most new fans only know the fat masculine version of Susan/Stephanie and wonder how she could ever have attracted Eric. Then you see what she USED to look like, even here when she was 49 years old, and she just knocks your socks off.

First of all, the character of Eric was much younger than Susan Flannery. In fact, he was about six years older than the character of Ridge. Susan Flannery went through cancer and chemo treatments while she was still on the show and survived. She didn't let herself go.

All four of us watched and liked Clayton norcross and liked Mr norcross as thorne Forrester. I hated these other thorne's as thorne but Clayton he was the best. But I'm glad thorne watched and overheard his mama and daddy conversation and thorne found out in 1987-88 that ridge slept with Caroline behind his own back. Thorne shot ridge and left.
