1st round - i can see that going to Lee based on how hyped the crowd got in the moment and his flow. Short but very sharp and powerful round by him 2nd round - Clearly Amir. Lee repeated the side hollow and in the end just gave up after the head-slide/ not sure what to do after it 3rd round - Amir's round was just insane - some of the most intricate floor origami ever, and on beat? This was a massive round! Lee's corkscrew entrance was ridiculous and got everyone hyped, but ... after that he just fizzled out? And to top if off missed his thread in the end and didn't stick that freeze combo afterwards. I think it's a clear 2-1 for Amir. Lee was def crowd favorite, you can tell, but you have to be very ... partial and easily influenced by the crowd reaction to have given 2 of those rounds to Lee... And i'm coming at this from the POV of a person who generally likes Lee and i think he is the better dancer in that funk/bboy flow sense of the word.

A clear victory would be a 5-0 for the judges not a 3-2. Apparently it's close hence they see things you don't. + Factoring in other rounds in the light of repetition+ factoring in only seeing it once as a judge and not having the ability to rewind and pause to look for slip ups and details.. props to the judges for having a difficult job.

Great battle, but I think both displayed very different approaches to dance. You’ll give the win to whichever one you value more. For me, it’s Amir. He’s reached a level of creativity and mastery that permeates each and every movement. Lee is a really impressive dancer, but is more trick-focused.

This battle is outrageous. Amir uses new combos, he moves much more than his opponent and is more complete. Lee is good but very far from amir. It is too short in its passages. The real champion of BC one 2022 is amir. If he was American, he would certainly have been a champion. Nobody comes close to his ankle right now. It is obvious that we wanted to eliminate it at all costs.

People are so mistaken thinking bboy is all about moves. Yes Amir arguably had better moves but lee swagged on him. In a cool calm and collected way. Look at round 3. He dropped that insane power move but didn’t get overhyped. Business as usual for him. Personality matters and looking at the judges, most of them clearly said they value character / confidence / battle aura. (Go watch the pre-show interview)

@@AlmightyAnt300 it depends on the judge’s slight bias. No judge is 100% objective. Watch the pre show interviews. For me, Lee took this battle. Lee had moves, flair & ‘presence’ (something Amir.. & some eastern european battlers tend to lack) e.g Amri’s crew mate from predatorz (boot2z).. that dude used to be incredible. But usually fell short when it came to flava / presence. Any completion with more style-head type judges and he’d struggle a bit more. It’s reality. No hate here

I know I’m like a year late but…. I don’t think Amir was robbed. He seemed really lack luster until the 3rd round. His vibe seemed off from the start and honestly I think people are being slightly biased here. Now Lee wasn’t perfect he definitely had some mistakes and repeat moves. But overall I thought he did really well. 😊
