Fascinating and important film about this Polish town that was home to 11,000 Jews before the war. Thank you Marcin and Jeffrey for sharing this history with us. Remembrance is crucial, for everyone and especially the Jewish people. I hope that the plaque does eventually get erected.

I hope that you continue this collaboration. This history is so important although there is so much heartbreak involved. Thank you so much to both of you. God protect the Jewish people, and may the memory and souls of those who endured such evil rest in peace.

Thank you Jeffrey and thank Marcin for sharing this video. Very important for the world to know that there was an active thriving Jewish community in Bendzin. My mother was born in Bendzin as were generations before her . The nazi ripped my mother from my grandmothers arms at age 11 and sent to concentration came. She never saw her parents or siblings again . 😢

I visited that castle as a child almost 30 years ago with some cousins who lived in Będzin. I didn't know anything about the Jewish history until I read "A Small Town Near Auschwitz" by Mary Fulbrook a couple of years ago. I've wanted to visit again ever since but never have enough time and after watching this I'd want to go back even more. Thanks for introducing us to Mr. Cymbler, the world needs more people like him. Hope your mother is doing well.
