Yes it's terribly small. I don't know what they were thinking when they decided 4 gorillas would have adequate space. Honestly, it's the most shitty enclosure I've ever seen for gorillas. Sometimes it makes me want to stop watching....it's that bad. But I've fallen in love with them and can't leave them. I only can hope that somehow they feel the love so many people have for them.

Pero les alimentan muy bien e interactúan mucho con todos los gorilas. Les dan comida en las manos, curan sus heridas, a Momotaro le daban la medicina en la boca, les acarician, juegan con ellos. Mira el de la familia D'jeeco en China y verás un sitio fantástico pero pasan tanta hambre que Iriki una de las madres, se come sus heces. El macho está tristísimo. Se sientan delante de una puerta esperando que les den comida y los cuidadores, no les dan nada. Al rato, les tiran desde lo alto, algún tomate, alguna zanahoria...eso no es alimento suficiente. Esta familia es muy equilibrada y pensemos que estos magníficos gorilas están en peligro de estinción. Yo valoro mas el trato del zoo de Kyoto que el de China, por supuesto!

@@WALKHYRYA que iriki coma sus heces no tiene nada que ver con que tenga hambre. Si estuvieran mal alimentados los enfrentamientos sería constante. Se los ve saludables y tienen un espacio que esta pobre familia no lo tiene. Si piensas que los alimentan bien, ok es tu opinión, no los compares con el zoo de Taipei, compara con uno más cerca como el de la familia shabani.

Was Momotaro surprised by an unexpected Gentaro, thinking it was the bird at first? With as big as Momtaro is, it is quite interesting he is scared of a small bird, but I am scared of small things sometimes too. Poor Gentaro. If it is truly aggression, then Gentaro may need moved sooner rather than later. I would be so upset if Gentaro gets hurt by Momotaro.

Momo keeps his fixed place at the chuter because it becomes his new favorite place. But its the passage to the living room for the family. Gentaro tries to pass there and unexpectedly is scolded by dad badly. I'm so sorry to hear his cry and think he must be so scared. Can he recover from the tragedy, I wonder！✨✨🌼

Why don’t they replant the uprooted trees somewhere else. I would rather see them benefit another habitat then wasting away! That’s not kind to the ones that donated the trees😕

They repeatedly replant them again. In my humble opinion, the trees are way too short or small. First of all more taller ones or thick ones are a must. On the other hand the seedlings are brought by individuals. Therefore it is difficult to donate higher ones to the zoo.

It may be a pigeon that found easy access to food and a good place to build it's nest. Have the keepers inspected the enclosure thoroughly to ensure one did not build a nest overnight sometime recently? This would be why they have started seeing frequent trespassing birds.
