On continue de laisser vivre le petit garçon (etc) et l'ado qu'on a été. Parfois on revient à une ancienne activité. C'est alors un autre apprentissage ; et on est sur terre pour apprendre.

How clean is this Follia. Love the drums that give pace and colour to the context with the beating of the stick on the rim of the drums. beautiful the slow intervals. They are very coordinated. ❤❤❤

Love how the addition of the drum made this sound a bit like romani music. I’ve read somewhere that a number of Vivaldi’s compositions are heavily inspired by how Romanians play their own music.

Yea, gypsy is considered a pretty disrespectful word. Romani or Roma are the proper words for the culture ur talking about op. Otherwise yea, pretty neat how Vivaldi's music holds a lot of the same archetypes as Romani music! I find it neat how the rhythms of the piece also play into that vibe

Actually all composers more or less sounded like this in the Baroque. Vivaldi is just one of the most popular. Also La Folia was a chord progression that all composers quoted, not just Vivaldi.

Very interesting rendition and interpretation full of enthusiasm and energy! It’s great to watch and see how the theme transforms, it’s complementary to other performances by musicians with more “silver hairs”. Very enjoyable! The longer pauses reminded me of the interruptions between movements in a Vivaldi Concerto. Loved the choice of percussions and the accent on the violin and Cello solos. The pianissimo part put a huge grin on my face, it was really contagious 😊😊. Thank you
