I made with 5g of Pandan powder, which results in mild flavour, that was on me. Sweetness is perfect. Quite a bit of medium size bubble, so need to lower beating speed to 4. Feels a bit wet, might increase time for 10 mins.

A too-hot oven is probably the culprit. But overbeating the batter can also cause a cake to crack. If you add too much air to the batter, it will rise nice and tall in the pan, then deflate-and crack-as it cools. Beat the egg whites on medium speed just until it is soft medium peak.

i just wondering why your pandan juice the one you take off from the refrigerator and the juice you uding adding egg was diffetent, its more darker, the fresh juice is lighter

Leave the pandan juice in the fridge for 2 days, then the juice will precipitation and you can get the concentrate pandan juice, it will more darker and taste more flavor.

6 inch square tall mold or you can use regular 7 inch mold instead. Actually you can find the ingredients in description box, is under the video. Pandan juice 50g 班蘭汁 Cake flour 50g 低筋麵粉 3 egg yolks 3 粒蛋黃 3 egg whites 3 粒蛋白 1 whole egg 1 粒全蛋 Sugar 40g 砂糖 Cooking oil 40g 食用油 White vinegar/Lemon juice/ Cream of tartar 1/4 tsp 白醋/檸檬汁/塔塔粉 Egg is about 60-65g each.(with shell)

If you use directly, you can't get the pandan extract, then the cake will less flavor.
hi, tried your recipe and its good! but my cake deflate when i remove from oven.. not sure why

Not bake enough, every oven temperature is different, maybe you need increase the time or the temperature.

Hi Ling sister, i tried today and bake it in middle level with fan oven on & i put oven temperature inside. The oven temperature maintained at 130dc max eventhough i put 200dc. Resulted top burning and bottom not cook. Is it the way is wrong? 😪

You need to find out what is the problem of your oven. Why you put 200℃ and only maintained in 130℃? If the top burning, maybe the cake the cake is too close the heating elements and try to not turn on the fan.

Thank you for sharing this recipe. I made it, the texture is super fine, cotton soft & fluffy but the downside is the top cracked & it the top sink quite a bit.. I set my oven at140c all the way. I guess, my oven temperature is hot.😅

Yeah, every oven temperature us different, just need to try few time to find out what is the best temperature for you. Wish you have a perfect cake come out next time.

Put 3-5 drops in 50g water and mix well=50g pandan juice
Why some recipe no need to put one whole egg, some need? What is the difference?

The ingredients of different recipes have different tastes. Add whole egg will make it moist and soft , no add whole egg usually make it more light and fluffy.
