Another great video Cody! I am really enjoying the dock videos! Nice comparison on the two best dock shooting rods out there! I personally do prefer the ACC Crappie Stix for all purpose use but I will definitely like to try that B'n'M Sharpshooter around the docks! Semper Fi and thanks for sharing!

Thanks Jim! I agree with you about the ACC, I think it is a better all-around rod. I've been using it a ton for bass fishing, and it's become one of my favorite senko rods. I can skip a mile with the ACC. I didn't compare costs in the video, but the ACC was about twice as much as the BnM. Still are both reasonably affordable rods though. Thanks for watching! Semper Fi!

Thank you, it's hard to beat ACC rods. I use my 6' 6" for lots of bass fishing too. Great all-around rod.

I found this to be a very good comparison between the 2 rods. Do you use both rods for every day crappie fishing or for dock shooting only?
@OutdoorQuests Жыл бұрын
I use the ACC stick for everyday fishing, and not just crappie. It's become one of my favorite all-around spinning rods. I multi-species fish, and use it for bass fishing quite a bit. it's a GREAT plastic stickbait rod, or anything that's a somewhat finesse presentation for bass. I'm sure the Sharpshooter would be good too, but I like the length of the 6'6" ACC for the other fishing I do. Plus, since I've been doing more and more kayak fishing, I have to be picky and pair down how many rods I take. One factor I didn't use in this specific comparison is cost. The Sharpshooter is around $50, while the ACC rod is around $100. $100 really gets toward the upper-end of what I can stomach for a rod, so something to keep in mind. Thanks for watching and stopping by, I really appreciate your feedback! -Cody

@@OutdoorQuests Thanks Brother really appreciate the detailed response. That sharpshooter might be right up my alley price wise. I've been kind of addicted to throwing a 4'6" ultra light.

Funny you say that, I just broke out my 4'6" ultralight recently that I haven't used in 15-20 years, and started fishing with it. It's so much fun, I guess I got into a rut of bigger rods over the years. Now I'm rigging up my other two ultralight rods that were collecting dust so my family can use them too. I'll be keeping an ultralight on each kayak now! Thanks again for the support, I really appreciate it! -Cody
