Wow, this was fun. I used to ride with the Ohio Central crew every weekend in the early 2000's. Engineer used to let me switch everything between Blacklick and Ross Labs downtown. One weekend we got to run out to Newark and tow the Ohio Central business train with the F units to Blacklick for a later excursion

@@utjay2008 I was 14 and 15 years old at the time. I'm 36 now and rarely a day goes by that I don't think about it. I'm sad they were at Highmont Plastic after dark. That is the place I had my most time at the throttle. I don'y have contact with the crew anymore, but I know the engineer went on to work for the FRA 😬. I have a video switching Highmont on my channel. I even tugged the throttle on their ex-CN Alco M420. What a memory. I've been eating up your videos

@@utjay2008 I'm not doing a shameless plug, I really don't have a channel. I just think it is interesting because you have clips of the same customer. You may use my footage if you'd like. I want this memory to live on. I don';t care about money or growing my channel. I'm not a KZbinr. Please distribute this footage. It's a piece of history. OC is gone. It's Genesee and Wyoming now. OC had Jerry Joe. He's gone. I don't want his memory forgotten

@@sakeeler hey man. I get it. I usually upload some DIY stuff. This is just footage my dad made decades ago and digitized it. I think there’s one more VHS tape somewhere. I had no idea these train videos would blow up like this. I may even start a new channel for it? Not sure. As long as they’re on KZbin they should be preserved.

My grandfather mike huston lived there in outville and we lived there just past it. Are the operator and did you maybe know him? I dont know much about trains unfortunately.
