Not only do I watch your videos because I am a sucker for calligraphy, but also to train my brain to pick up bits and pieces of the Japanese language. Listening in on my sister's Japanese language class also helps me familiarize myself with phrases and understand even without subtitles 😁

This pen is SARASA. If you have opportunity to come to Japan, you should try it. Maby all convenience stores have SARASA. About 1$ 🤔

Watching the ink dry as it is written is very satisfying. ❤

This is brilliant. This calligrapher not only makes the characters look aesthetically pleasing, but he also shows us with the perfect amount of detail how to do likewise. I think one of my mistakes has been to try to do too many loops in one continuous movement, without all that 止めてing. I think that if I do a bit more 止めてing, I will find it easier. :)

Even though I don’t understand ANY language, your art is like the best amazing thing that can blew the teachers mind and that hand writing is Impressive, keep of the incredible work!
These videos are so soothing and informative to watch, especially for Japanese language learners. Even if you can't understand the voiceover, the pen guides and the movements of his brush are just so intuitive. I love binging the videos on this channel.
The best technique I have ever seen. Thank you very much.
