Yo bro, I’ve been fighting with my transmission and trying to figure out why it wouldn’t close for 2 months it had the same gap you referred to now I’m confident it will close because my 4th gear was doing the same thing, loose on the shaft, the whole time I’ve been following instructions for a GSR and not LS THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH

Well tonight I'm putting a B16 3/4 in my LS...now I'm really confused...never seen anyone talk about this though or knew it was a problem...props This is shown on page 13-27 in the Helms manual if yall can find a pdf, always have extra copies 😉
