The story is truly amazing. It began with pencil, moved on to ink, and then to typing... The 70-year pen pal relationship is touching and emotional, making it a beautiful story. I wish I had such wonderful pen pals. However, time is short, and my lifelong wish is to travel the world. Thanks, Jennifer♥

My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

So, I got to remember this. If the action started in the past and continues until now, we can use the present perfect or the present perfect continuous. Example: - I've been working non-stop - They've been talking non-stop So, I can use this too with the same meaning, right? - I have worked non-stop - They have talked non-stop I have a question, If they are the same, so, why do we need to separate them? is there any condition that differs them one another? Thank you Jennifer for the lessons! I learned a lot from your videos, I even use many accounts to watch and subscribe to your channel hahahaha hopefully it will help you gain more interest in making such insightful videos

Hi Jennifer, thanks again for this good article l studied keenly. It called back old memories when l exchanged letters with penpals in Victoria (British Columbia) Canada. That was in thé 80's, unlike thé pair in thé article l've never had the chance to meet those good people. Too much time spent doing things and as time went by, letters grew scarce and ended when l got m'y first job. I must admit l have some regret not keeping in touch with them. By now, the must have kicked the bucket as they were much older than l. If l enroll to your english course, will l be able to talk to you or other students? That could be great to start being more confident.

wow!! apart from being great lesson to learn new words, it's also kinda intresting story though. i mean, if this is really true it's the first time they actually meet. i mean in the news article they said '' the started writting to each other by pencil" which means the two people could maybe write on a piece of paper and the send it to each other. so, i'm now asking myself, how they actually knew each other so they can start texting to each other??? at least on social media platforms, you can find anyone over there randomly and you can be a penfriends.🤔🤔🤪🙃
