I purchased the Laco Bremerhaven from Long Island Watch a few weeks ago and have absolutely fallen in love with it and its movement. It can't be understated how positive the crown movement and ticking is. So beautiful. I have a large wrist so it fits me perfectly, but the one downside to this watch is that I don't think its aesthetic works as a "large" watch for people with small wrists like a dive watch would.

primecreator The 6498 is a large movement so you probably will never see it on watches less than 42mm.

That would be the watch I would have bought instead of the Stowa marine if it was offered in a smaller case. 38 or 40 is the sweet spot for me. No regrets with my Stowa.

Beautiful watch. Aron Dunlap at OFD has the same watch and he really likes his also. I have a Hamilton Khaki mechanical which doesn't have a display back but I enjoy winding it everyday. Thanks for the great videos.

Damn, that is a gorgeous timepiece. I’m a total sucker for sub-second dials. I only wish it were smaller at 38mm and shorter lug to lug. Oh well, guess I just saved $1200.

nice watch, nice review. Really like that Unitas manual movement. Just wish these @ 40mm - 42mm case sizes use a 20mm lug as in my opinion this is a much better balanced size.

Had my eye on this one, but it is a large piece. I think it may even be a little too big for my 7.5" wrist. Thankfully someone's name isn't scribbled over the dial, making this very elegant.

The Laco Bremerhaven (black version of the Cuxhaven) does not have thermally blues hands.

That was alittle bit of a WOW watch . Blued hand an screws decorated movement for a 1000 bucks. If you look at a comparable watch with the same spec's thousand of dollars.
