That thing looks like a beast now. I smell another video coming. lol Glad to see you didn't blow up that differential. as that would have been a very bad outcome. I'm going to need to get down to 3.3 to have a chance. With the new revision on the TCU, and possibly adding Lozic's AWD tune, that should improve my launch. Will have to add some E into the mix too. :)

I have the same car (with less output). I have the same anxiety when anything goes wrong with these vehicles, my very first reaction is just seeing more 💰💰 going out. Well done , at least yours was a simple reflash to correct it.

This is hilarious to me because I am running 034 Stage 1 93 with an AWE intake and AWE exhaust. I have been running it for a while but have easy access to good E-85 and 93 pump gas. These cars are supposedly good to run without any fuel mods on the E40 tune, so I was about to do what you just did and go to the pump, calculate out what's needed and fill the tank with a flash at the gas station. Thanks for this video, I love my B8.5 S4. Subscribed.

for the calculator i put the tank size as 14.5, i’ve ran the car to completely empty and never put more than that in, might help give you a little more accurate mixture.

Appreciate the response, why 14.5? I looked up the tank size and it’s just over 16 gal. Also, just make sure you never go WOT when running it out of fuel, it’s very hard on the fuel pump and will burn it up quicker. How are you calculating?

you are gonna love the 034. i have them on both my s5 b8.5 and on my sq5 b9 both amazing. when are we gonna see what that water meth does. my b8.5 is modded like yours but the meth. Cant wait to see the difference it makes. got the fuel-it sensor and bluetooth adaptor to feel saver on e40 i would recommend that for your peace of mind lol

Nice! Love both of those cars, esp the S5. I do have an GM Ethanol sensor installed, with some sort of quick release, and I can tell he had a P3 gauge in the driver side air vent, bc some of the vent pieces are loose. I had to try it though, now I’m hooked. How much was your entire setup?, I don’t want to pull timing and measure shit like a mad scientist each time lol

Speaking of the mechanical failure, I once lifted my car to do work on the front passenger side brakes, I kept the car up on one side for about 2 hours then I took it for a test drive and the transmission didn't shift, I also 💩 myself, and it stayed in first the whole time turns out my transmission was low on fluid 😂

@@Gualeezy I drained my transmission got 3.5 quarts out and put 4.5 in and checked the level when the trans reached 140F. I also used Amsoil stuff. And it's not a dumb question at all, and if you need anything else lmk brother.

Good eye, that is a brake light for when the brakes are getting too hot. We were ripping on it pretty hard. He is going to upgrade them as we work with @034motorsports

@@PhatBoyiee did you replace them yourself? You should be able to clear that code either through the car or with a scan tool. It could come on when maintenance is required or if they over heat, hard telling the difference between the models, but it’s an Audi so chances are yours just needs reset if it came on after the brakes were changed

Always data log before you push the car hard on ethanol. I have a b8 s4 manual tuner on IE stage 2 dual pulley with E40 blend. No issues at all so far. I use the app and tester you use also. Just make sure you data log bro

Yessir! I sent some logs to IE and a third party, only time there was was a timing correction was prior to plugs and coils being replaced, I didn’t go over 5k on the e40 flash bc I didn’t get a log, but I flashed it back to 93, it’s more conservative so when someone test drives it I know it’s running good now. E40 was just too violent for the age and mileage of this thing. I’m selling it and going to focus on the b9 RS5 content with 034 right now

Hey man, I have a B8 S4 and I use IE software as well, I had issues with stage 1 and it was because you’re supposed to turn the car on, then turn it off and then you can drive it. And I didn’t do that, and I had some weird issues. But I contacted IE and they let me know that was a possible cause.

did you tune the TCU? Aggressive ECU tunes will need a stage 2 TCU. IE is not the problem, user error my guy. Make sure you flash the TCU with 034 this time.

@@twn2rbo b5s4 with hybrid rs6 turbos. Makes around 500whp on stock motor/drivetrain. The turbos are good for more just don’t want to push my luck on stock rods. In either building or buying a built motor and going big single turbo.

The B7 S4/RS4 does have the V8. Personally, I'm glad they switched to a boosted V6. The tuning options are night and day.
