Their not required for BA. They are for BF onwards.

Hey bro if I delete the rear muffler would it sound nice and loud or if I delete both mufflers and put a mid 12 inch hotdog

Start with the rear muffler. It's a big improvement

Best advice I can give you Ryan, is to spend the money in a nice exhaust system, I went Pacemaker 4490s to a Red Back 100 Cell High flow cat, and a venom mid section with a smaller muffler and I have a 2.5-4" cannon in stead of twin tips, gives it a really nice note and it's not tinny as fuck, but spend where you can with it, you'll notice it pick up a bit too

You will piss off all of your neighbours and devalue your car and gain unwanted attention from cops and annoy people if you do that. There was a dude in my street that had a straight through system on a BA used to piss everyone off it was so loud an Iraq war veteran in my street flipped out and ended up beating the f@ck out of him for keeping his kids up all night with his car and ignoring many warnings to fix his exhaust or not drive all hours of the night from many of us in the street , the car disappeared not long after that. I had a BF Mk2 they sound good stock I think anyway they are a good sounding car from factory. Just keep in mind that it will gain bad attention if you make it to loud is what I'm basically trying to put across.
