Steeve, you are 100% aware that our design has change since more than 2 years now and you are still comparing it to your most recent version. You know all these details of course, because I took the time to send you a DM. I bit of respect would be appreciate, but from what I've understood, it's something you don't know.

With all due respect, if you had designed your product well from the beginning you wouldn't be in this position of defending your initial design. If you have to rush then you’re not ready. If you have to compromise you’ve already lost future business and only succeeded in the short run. If your design team is too afraid to tell you face value of their professional opinion, you’ve lost OR you’re an innovator and your design team just doesn't know yet. Please do not assume your competition would not compare and improve their design with competitors. You should be impressing your competition from the get go upon their first impression of a cross section examination. I can’t stress enough if being exposed was going to cause this much embarrassment then why release it? I think being exposed for your flaws is an opportunity to improve and give momentum to showcase your improvements. Educate your customers and regain their confidence. This goes for all product design and not just Pepin or Baadass. There is a reason why iphones sell like hot cakes, because they’re designed with the customer in mind, and continually improve an already great product and thus giving us confidence. You only have one chance for first impressions, so treat it as such. I wish you'd send Baadass dumbbell your new design so Steve can do a proper comparison instead of responding to a post. Or better yet do your own comparison of your competitors and educate your customers. Sure, he could have used your current design, but he doesn’t have one and because it isn't in his best interest to purchase, cross cut and lug it to conventions. He has no obligation to you but to educate his customers, improve his business and the welfare to his employees. Create an opportunity so he and your competition would think otherwise. Be objective as a business doesn’t have feelings. Competition is healthy and good for us customers. Concerned potential customer

This was a cool breakdown of the various designs that was very informative but I’ll have to disagree with it being fast. At the end of the day, it’s a spin lock which is the slowest to change.

Well I think he was saying the change plates were fast if you're doing drop sets due to the magnet. But screwing on and off, yes I agree is not fast.

Pepin is so expensive but poorly designed and manufactured.
