Do you know that when S.S. Rajamauli directed the last scene when bhalla was on woods and ready for burned alive and bahubali stabbed his leg with a sword .... For that scene they waited for 5-6 days because Rajamauli wanted to shoot that scene in those weather conditions and they talked with the Indian metrological department and then they waited for 5-6 days to shoot that scene and then they added graphics on that. And I like your expression when you and Miguel were like ohhhhh when bhalla stabbed bahubali's right hand. 😊😂😂

Lord Shiva and the divine plan is a recurring motif and essentially what binds the whole story together. If you think only about the story of Amarendra Bahubali, it didn't end well despite of him being a good man and a righteous 'king', but when you look at both the movies as a whole, you'd see that Mahendra Bahubali performed the ritual of 'rudrabhishek' - the ritual of bathing lord shiva with water, milk or blood, knowingly or unknowingly, for his adoptive mother, and all the impediments in his path are removed: he gets the mask, climbs the water mountain, reunites with his mother, brings the ones guilty for his father's death to justice, fulfils his destiny of becoming king. You'll see that when he finally confronts Bhallaldeva, and the fight is leaning to favor the latter, he again, unknowingly, does rudrabhishek with his blood and crushes his rival. The closing scene of this movie, where Bhallaldeva's head falls through the waterfall in front of Lord Shiva represents that Shiva will fulfill his promise to his devotees and the righteous. Also, you'd find it interesting that both 'Amarendra' and 'Mahendra' literally mean 'the God/King of Gods', and are used for Lord Shiva. Also, Mahendra's foster parents call him 'Shivudu'.

When this movie came out, me, my dad and my sister were dying to watch it as we loved the first one and saw it several times. As for the 2nd one, we got the tickets like 3 weeks after the release and that too a night show at 1am. Man at that killing scene and when kattappa confronts shivgami, I had never felt a stronger urge in my life to cry😂. That was really heartbreaking. My throat hurt so damn much. It's a once in a lifetime masterpiece
