Playing Silent on my first A5 run I got a pandoras box from hexaghost. 2 after images and many (like, 4) dagger throws. I purchased a bandage at the next shop. Pretty sure it was the highest score I've gotten too!

Just had a run with orange pellet, duality relic, and 3 copies of fasting +. Had a ton of fun blocking for 30ish on a single defend card. Didn’t even need to go to wrath stance since I didn’t get any wrath card other than eruption anyway

Iron Clad, Prismatic Shard, Dual wield mummified hand buffer, and omega. Had a nightmare and wish too near the end but couldn't nightmare the nightmare and wish for infinite monies. Gonna try and find a seed where I can.

Not a fan of the robot intro either, nor the graphics in the editing. What would REALLY help improve these videos would be leaving in the chat from Baalorlord at the end when he reviews the run and reflects on it. These videos are really lacking for not having that

Glad I'm not the only one who hates that robot voice in the beginning. It is bad. Considering we all hear that voice with ads, It makes sense why it's so disliked. We all want to just mentally forget and push past that sound. So hearing it as soon as i open up a full length video, Just makes me want to skip the video and not watch it. If you're going to do an intro like that then you need to take the time and put your own voice intro. Otherwise leave it as it was. Another thing with everyone else it would not hurt to leave the overview after a run is done in the KZbin video. Now that would be welcome

Tingsha deals damage when you discard cards. He managed to get into a loop of duplicating and repeatedly playing Calculated Gamble to discard his hand over and over.

I feel like Silent is the class with the biggest ups and downs. There are just some times where you get a deck that absolutely steamrolls everything. But the average Silent deck feels weaker that the average deck of any other class. Just my observation!

I think every class has this feature to some extent. Ironclad can feel really clunky with high cost cards but then it can pull off 999 block or drop kick infinites. Defect can fizzle out in act 2 real easily, but then it can pull off 10 orbs with 10+ focus nonsense. Watcher is probably least up and down considering the rush down stance dance nonsense, but it can be hard to stay diligent in skipping cards.

At the end of the day, if videos with TTS get more views (and longer average watch time) then he will (and should) keep it You’re entitled to your opinions, his business is to get his content viewed by as many people as possible on a consistent basis. And it’s equally possible that he will get fewer views with it! But he needs to experiment and do so a few more times at least to get a decent sample size before changing policies

I'm not too sure about the intro. I mean, I've yet to see a Baalor run which didn't get crazy, or where he himself took a dog of a deck and made it work. On the topic of Wild Strike, I understand not liking it too much. In any case, I won a run the other day with it and the usual trifecta of Ironclad powers, plus Evolve and... what was it called, the power that does damage when you get a status or curse card? It was truly one of those moments when Ironclad started winning like crazy!

Don't think the intro adds anything but time to the video. If you know the game, you can determine everything it says from the first frame and if you don't, it's basically gibberish. I don't mind it, but also don't see the point.

Isn't that what the "description" field is for in KZbin studio? I've heard the "title" field can also be used to relay useful information to viewers as well, but it is much more limited in length.

I’m guessing it’s bc they’ve watched so many videos with it that it seems generic. For me, I watched a content creator that was able to make the tts sound human like (with dynamic stress/intonation) so I don’t mind it much. As you said it’s barely any time in comparison to the video length

for me it’s that the current intro has very little purpose - i clicked on the video, i already know it’s silent A20, and the thumbnail and title always say stuff like "insane run" anyway. feels like i'm fed more clickbait *after* i clicked, which makes little sense. the tts also doesn’t fit the channel’s aesthetics - it seems less genuine than the cozy baalor streaming vibe. if a new viewer arrives, they might leave due to the tts. if the editor really wants to add an intro, something like the twitch start-up screen would be nice, or higher effort branding intros would probably be good too. ^ i too watch a channel that uses tts dynamically (chess simp?) - so I don’t have anything against the voice, it was funny hearing it here yesterday because I’ve associated the voice with that channel

Because it's more than zero seconds and it adds no value. Many people don't like it. It's about 5 seconds long. As of this writing, this video has ~7400 views. That's a little more than an hour of the audience's time wasted in aggregate. Over the next year, this video is likely to get at least 3.5x that number, maybe more. That's about 3 1/2 hours per video. If he does a hundred such intros, that's two over whole weeks of human time thrown away without even getting any entertainment value out of it. From the perspective of some members of the audience, it's worth complaining about before it gets out of hand. If Baalorlord thinks most people like it or at least don't dislike it, he's inclined to do more of it. If enough people complain about it, he's likely to stop, because he's neither stupid nor rude.

Not sure I can speak for everyone here, but I'm simply disappointed by the aesthetic choice to use the robot voice. I'm invested in Baalor being the best StS streamer he can be, and this just feels like a step in the wrong direction for him. I appreciated his switch to more streamlined thumbnails, and even approved of ditching the classic comfy chair for a standing desk. Nobody's trying to control Baalor - we're trying to support him.

Being only 5 seconds long is kinda' the worst. It's annoying, but it's impractical to skip. The only way to skip it efficiently is with browser extensions like Sponsorblock, and even then _someone_ has to sit through it and take the time to mark the timecodes and classify the nature of its spamminess.
