I know I have seen other comments to this effect, but just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for all your content. You're incredibly good at explaining complex information in a funny, entertaining way! It's a gift, but also a honed skill that you have clearly put thought and care into, and it definitely shows. Hope I can make your streams sometimes, but I'm so grateful for the youtube uploads! You've helped me progress to Ascension 4 for all characters so far!

I think there is some kind of mystical connection between being good at the game and getting what you need in card rewards/the shop. Jorbs seems to have a lot of prediction luck like that, too.

@@celebrim1i wish the gap from a19 to a20 was different from just "second boss" what if there were new enemy groupings? what if it became where there was an easy, then hard pool of normal combats, then super hard, where things like, a jaw worm and a snecko became a fight after 6 combats? that would be more interesting and give more information to the player about what boss they'd have to face than just "oh there is another boss" tho i know that it would be difficult to balance so like, i g i get why not to include it

@@wittywarbler1117bad idea, double boss allows for more consistency of runs too, u have to prepare for each boss and cant get ruined or saved by getting an unlucky/lucky 1/3 hit, your idea is alot harder on devs too and for no reason, i dont really find it more interesting than double boss, also just fighting a double boss sounds bada** and has crazy aura too it, feels appropiate for the final ascension

@@Vyuelidk. It gets to a point where you know what cards to take and what to do. Where early on in the pre 10 levels this doesn't matter at all

4:06 Had a run yesterday which got a genetic algorithm at the end of act 1, duplicated it once in act two with the duplicator event, and again in act 3 with the mirror. Went into heart with three 64 block algos. Was a pretty good time

I think the Body Slam+ was takable at the end since it provides a way to put something in the discard pile for zero cost, but the deck goes infinite quickly enough anyway.

I've also been warming up to an early Iron Wave! It makes the math easy in early fights, with strength/Juggernaut I'm rarely upset with it in my hand, and, if you're building towards exhaust in the mid game, it's a source of block you don't have to ration when your Corruption isn't yet game-winning. It's a lil workhorse.

U need to exhaust ur deck or remove down to the point where every card in your deck is in your hand, then pommel strike draws two and therefore counts as shuffling the draw pile twice, and the second pommel strike shuffles it 1 more time, proccing sundial for 2 energy making the two pommel strikes energy neutral as long as one is upgraded

Almost 500 hours in and I had never consciously noticed that the different non-boss chests have different contents (even though when I looked it up I realize I had unconsciously associated the biggest one as being "better")
