Baazeecha-e-atfal (Mirza Ghalib) by Shailly & Ruhaan Kapoor

My son Ruhaan attempted the 'matla' (opening couplet) of this ghazal when he was eight years old. I have used that couplet sung by him to open this ghazal. I thought it was going well with the thought of the matla. Have attempted almost all couplets barring one. Please do not judge this ghazal from the perspective of music/singing talent as am no singer. It is only for my love for ghazals and Mirza Ghalib that I wanted to sing it. Hope you enjoy all couplets.

I have heard more than 500 times this Ghazal. I mean especially this ghazal from yout voice. It is absolutely soul touching. It directly appeals to heart and a person becomes with one's own ups amd down of life. You deed great job. It's been great to listen from your voice many other's the way you did this. Shailly, Am an ardent fan of your singing. the texture of your voice and the rendition is heart capturing. no exaggeration here but my contribution as likes and number of views of all the ghazals of Mirza Ghalib that you have sung is endless, wish you had some software to analyse as to which individual has seen your videos for how many times, i would without any doubt be the winner. The best part is that you have attempted all the couplets of each ghazal that you have sung of Ghalib which no other singer has attempted so far and that is the USP of yours. Hello Shailly, Much Thanks for your reply. if i may humbly request to you to mesmerize your fans by singing ' Qasid ke aatey aatey khat ik aur likh rakhun.....' & 'Ishq mujh ko nahin wahshat he sahi.....' Although, the social media is flooded with Mirza Ghalib's ghazals sung by the end number of singers but you must know that other than the greatest of all Jagjit Singh ji, i only prefer to hear the ghazals of the greatest of all Mirza Ghalib in your voice. Let me reiterate your unique quality (besides your mesmerizing full of expressions singing) is that you have attempted the couplets of each ghazal which no other singer has dared to attempt as we speak.
