Sis...just trust me and give a try with cold chill Coconut Milk yr murukku will be so so crispy...the secret of my recipe is trying with butter and using cold chilled coconut milk. Hot oh warm Coconut milk will make yr murukku hard sis..so dont use hot milk..and also dont use planta instead use butter.

Thanks for the recipe, Ms Rina! But can you please specify the range for the volume of coconut milk should be used in this recipe? Like how much coconut milk should I prepare in advance? Is 500ml sufficient? What if I prepared too little milk, or if I added too much milk to the dough? It is difficult for us beginners to learn without the proper measurement. Any estimation would be a great help for us.

Hi sis. As I said in the recipe there is no exact measurements for the coconut milk, while u doing preparing the dough u will know how much milk u will need. U hv to feel the dough to be soft as easy to press out in the mould. If the dough is little hard u will find it difficult to press out from the mould so just feel the dough to be soft and easy to press out and add milk accordingly. Tq happy trying.

If it breaks that means butter oh Ghee has increased a little sis..and another thing is when u twist the murukku out dont raise the mould to high, the mould has to be as low as you can when twisting the dough out.

Hi Shaiful...the secret of this recipe is to try the way I did for a better taste and a crispy murukku. Please do not try the way its written at the back of the packet because it would not be as taste and crispy as the way I do....please follow the way I did and u will really enjoy the crispy ness. U must use ais cold coconut milk and butter yah than only the murukku will be crispy. Dont use planta. And for the ajwain seeds u cant find in and Indian stores oh shops.
