What I love about Patsy's lines is that we immediately realize that's what WE wanted to say, but couldn't actually; she just comes right out with it ~ thanks for this nice crisp copy, feels modern somehow. Some things will NEVER change.

Soo very funny! Poor Thelma left us way way way too soon! May she be resting in peace now in a much better place!

Thank you. Love Patsy's clumsiness, the hose mishaps, Thelma being rocked out of bed, when I see a woman in her slip, it reminds of talking to my late mother, as she got ready for work. She was a nurse who worked a 3 to 11 shift, & our conversation replaced the dinner table discussion on her work days. Thanks again.

I haven’t seen a top-loading portable dishwasher since I used one in the 1970s.

Just once I'd like to hear Thelma say "There's Another Fine Mess You've Gotten Us Into!"🤣 Wow, dishwasher in 1934? Not many could afford that...

The female Laurel and Hardy. Loni Anderson once played Thelma in a tv movie. I've enjoyed getting to Thelma's work in recent years.

These gals really makes me laugh. I feel so sad thinking that Thelma never made it 30 years old. She left way to soon.

ZaSu left Hal Roach studios to focus on her film career, particularly with James Gleason. As a result, Roach needed another foil to Thelma's character. Enter Patsy Kelly. I like ZaSu, but I prefer Patsy and her quick wit and sarcastic nature. Thelma and Patsy worked well together. Patsy did make one or 2 films in which she was the star. One as the head of a trucking company in the early 1940s. The other was with some Italian actress @ the mid 1930s. Can't remember title, but they both played nurses. It was actually hilarious! She was often typecast as the maid, side-kick etc. And she was a massive film buff. She also appeared in Rosemary's Baby.
