I was fortunate to be on a playtest awhile back and my experience was pretty much in line with what Grishna said in the clip. I had a difficult time creating any sort of spin with mine and shots often seemed short. Flat serves were fine and one area where I really liked the Pure Strike was volleys. Pure Strike is bad with thick strings and high tensions as yours. Try a thinner gauge (1,20 or 1,25mm) and a string which allows more movement (it's an 98 inch head which is very tight in the center even for it's size) like wilson revolve or something like that wit lower tension (approx 22-23 kg).

All in all, for the majority of fans they should release a second-generation with this paint job would probably solve the dissapointment~ The racquet is my choice for now. The biggest problem must be the out-of-center shot because of the stiffness, I do like the muted feel, or if I would say so the less feel the better I think the spin issue comes from the lack of feel and pop out effect from the high stiffness, which you can't really have enough compact and the ball has already flown away~~This racquet gives those Babolat style's powers if you do the things right, and I will keep it with me a while. And be careful this racquet is thicker at 3,9 o'clock (before I would ignore that and now I think it really is different compares to all-the-same width) Since Areg, not a very tall guy feel more likable to this stick as I do, there might be some implication lol

The T-Fight is quite control oriented. To me it feels something like the Blade 16x19 but a bit more powerful.

Great review guys! I recently played with this racquet and instantly hated it. Doesn’t have any feel at all. Really horrible cosmetic also.

Racquet is hideous IMO, the last iteration was one of the best looking racquets IMO so i dont know what happened… tried this racquet and hated it as well, but in all fairness I never use Babolat. Way too “cheap” feeling and powerful. More of a Gravity, Blade, V Core player. Good play test! I know you guys did the Extreme MP, but try the Extreme Tour. Guarantee you guys would all enjoy it!
@gladiatorstribe3 жыл бұрын
Yep, I (Grisha) totally agree with you. The racket is a bit to stiff and yes, a bit cheap feeling. In terms of the tour version of the extreme, we'd absolutely love to do that one and we will!
@LeonBa3 жыл бұрын
If you do the Extreme Tour, you need to lead up the frame by a few gram to get the perfect racquet (imo of course)

I think it looks great. Not as nice as the Rafa Pure Aero (one of the best-looking rackets of the last several years) and the Pure Drive (2018 and 2021), but better than the yellow Aero for sure.

This review is all wrong and this racquet is fantastic. Control is insane and first and second serves are amazing. Spin is also spectacular.
@benjaminjensen111 Жыл бұрын
I think that Grisha got out the bed on the wrong side with this one. Other reviewers give it high grades and some even had switched to this one as their preferred racket at Tennis ware house. The cosmetic is just slightly different from the Technifibre 40 which designs he apperently loves. He says it sucks at vollyes where that is exactly were it shines the most and outshines other rackets. I think it has to do with his swing style that needs a different racket. I trust Aregs review on this one the most. He is agreeing with most other reviewers online. Areg also gives thsi one better grades than the T 40

OMG. it really spins a lot. especially good for second serve kick. You must have done something real special to the racket for not making it spin and strung it with epoxy coated kevlar at 70 kg. You say it has low potiential for spin.... and that is not what everyone else is saying or experincing.
@benjaminjensen111 Жыл бұрын
Wrong string for this racket and to much tension. 1.30 in a 98? nah 25 kg? nah Luxilon Adrenaline? nah too stiff for this racket. Try Solinco Tour bite 1.25 at 23 kg or MSV Focus Hex 1.23 at 23 kg and give it 5 grams of lead at 12 and we have a winner. Get a better Stringer guys.

ofcourse you cant create spin with this racket with that poly string at that tension. please be serious. You might be great players but obviously you are not stringers. The racket is not a spin racket but more a control and players racket. Such racket, like Pure Strike needs a multifilament, like the Xcel or MLT at 27 kg.... and then you will have enough spin/control and power. also if you dial down the poly to 24 kg. you will start having spin with that racket. A hybrid of MLT in the cross and a hexashaped poly in the mains at 23/24 kg, is the best for that racket. also the 100" is better coming to the sweetspot. your babolat aeros are also 100"
