Dave been watching you from the beginning and learned so much about music and mixing. You made it possible with all your awesome guest for us to experience the music making process. This is my favorite KZbin channel since KZbin started. Batter Box is my favorite segment. Someone asked in the comments of another channel that I feel like is a spin off of your channel asked if they should go to school for music and I said learn the basics of your DAW and watch every episode of Pensados Place. .. Things like know were you are going before you start a mix, mix at conversation levels, mixing is a whole lot of subtleties, and mix into the stereo buss is some of the many things I’ve learned at Pensados Place and a lot from Herb also with his conversations on relationships and business and other industry stuff and how he managed Brian McKnight lol… some of the best interviews on KZbin is on Pensados Place. Also can you try and get Teddy Riley back on the show it always interesting to see what he’s working on and I think he’s working on something right now… Thanks, Dave I hope to be on the show one day… One last thing I ran into GI one of your assistant’s at a gas station in Sacramento and ask him are you from Pensados Place and he said, “yes” I was like I watch that show all the time and he gave me his card. I asked how much do you guys charge for a mix and he respectfully said we don’t talk prices, fair enough, I understand. He seemed like a great guy. Thanks again Dave!

Duckers on reverb work really well on guitar solos. You get the pick attack, then you hold a note that ever "Washes in."

nice to see another ITL. Dave i’ve got to know what effects drake has on his vocal chain. there’s some secret sauce 40 has been gate keeping. it’s got a like a DSP or scaling texture of some kind i can’t quite nail it down.

My favorite part is when he did the bypass test on the 1 and put it back on the downbeat. That alone, is pure artistry 5:45
