Great recipe. I put the raw ribs in a heavy metal pan, cut in half "same seasonings" and rinsed sauerkraut on top of the ribs. I add a cup of chicken Bone broth and wrap the top of the metal pan in foil and bake at 285 for 3 1/2-4 hours. This was my go to when my Mom made it back in the 80's.. Great Job my man... Love your style.

I've been eating Ribs and Sauerkraut almost 60 years. You did a great job. Mom and now I, add thin sliced Onion, chopped Garlic and Bay leaves in the Sauerkraut. Adds a lot of flavor. Im enjoying your channel.

I love this recipe. I learned how to make this from my friend’s dad that grew up in Germany and was a chef. He told me to make it just like this, except at the end before serving he put the kraut in a hot skillet and scalded it a little before putting on top of the ribs. It’s pretty good like that as well. I make this a couple other ways and always turns out fantastic. I like adding dill and potatoes to it.

I like the idea of crisping the kraut up a little at the end. Good stuff. Thanks for watching!

Great vittles! I gotta try this. Just a little twist, if you have time. Fire up your grill to high, season your ribs as you see fit, 4 min a side to sear, then take over with your method H2. Think you'll enjoy that.

I love the Babyback and the St. Louis style ribs and cook them on the grill, but lately I have cooked some in the Instant Pot and finished off in the oven broiled for about 10 minutes and using the barbeque sauce which came with my chicken wings from Schwan's Home Delivery service since I have plenty of that sauce. The ribs comes out perfect and so delicious also when not left in the oven too long.

Never thought of doing Sauerkraut with ribs, gonna have to give this a try, but will try doing it in my smoker cause I love adding smoke flavor to everything 😋. Probably a apple wood. Or peach wood if I can get it otherwise Sauerkraut might get overpowered by the smoke. Need mild wood flavor for this😉

I'm just happy I tried something thats popular on the East Coast and something that HH loves so much. . But as a West Coast Cali guy...may I recommend you try this mexican drink called Sangria Senoral. It's in a glass bottle. Look it up. Yo, made of pure cane sugar like Cheerwine. You might like it bro. All the way from the West Coast, you got me SPRUNG!!
