Here is baby boys name reveal!! I am so excited to share it with you all! If you dont know, I went into preterm labor on Christmas Day at 27 weeks pregnant & ended up giving birth at 28 weeks to my little preemie baby. He is currently in the NICU but is doing well! Thank you all so much for continuing to follow us on this journey.

I saved this video and have finally found the time to watch it. I was born 2 months premature in 1967. A whopping 3 lbs. 8 oz. and 16" long. We're fighters. Glad you got to do skin to skin time! It’s so good for the baby’s development as well as your mental health. It’s so unnatural having a new baby and not being able to nurture him. I think I had to wait about 3 weeks before I was able to hold my 26-weeker preemie twins.

I just watched your birth story video before this one, and I’m so sorry you’re having to go through this. My second baby was born in Sep. 2016 at 27+6. It was touch and go whether he would live for about 20 minutes when he was first born (emergency caesarean in my case), but he pulled through and spent 80 days in NICU. He is now a completely healthy and active 4 year old. You (and all NICU families) are in our prayers every day because we know how hard it is!! But (at least in our experience) NICU docs and nurses are truly some of the most wonderful people on the planet. I am sure they are taking amazing care of your little boy! You will make it through this. :)

So happy you got to hold that sweet little angel. I'm a NICU Mom myself, so I know you loved every second of it. Sometimes they have a time limit when you first hold your baby especially when they are small. I'm not sure if your baby is considered micro premiee but my boy weighed just 1 pound 4oz. He is almost 11 months now, happy and healthy. Crawling around getting into everything. I keep your hole family in my prayers. I have faith your boy will have a speedy NICU stay.
