I have twin girls that were born at 25 weeks, back in 1999. I know that NICU life all too well. My twins spent 5 and 6.5 months in there, sometimes at different hospitals even. They are now 21 years old and are truly my miracle babies

Omg, this made me cry. Just the thought of leaving that precious boy to go home again. Ugh, that killed me. I know he’s home but as a mother I feel that pain even though he’s safe. Watching your videos made my heart ache. I'm a preemie mom to a 31week1day preemie due to pre eclampsia I got at 17 weeks. He stayed in the NICU 2 months abd 2 days. He had a hard time in the NICU. The day before he was suppose to cone home. I came in to meet someone to show me how to use the Apnra Monitor. All of a sudden I hear a page. I see a bunch of doctor's and nurses running to a bed. I thought how awful for that baby when mine was coming home. I looked over. The baby they were reviving was mine. So needless to say he didn't come home the next day. The ups and downs of a NICU baby. He is now 16 years old. He does have medical problems from being a preemie but for the grim prognosis they gave him he is doing fantastic. My prayers are with your little preemie to have a smooth ride home and a lifetime of joy. 💙

Thank you for sharing, I’m loving ur videos. My son was born December 30, 2021 due in March, came at 26 weeks Emergency C-section. I tested positive for covid after getting my flu shot 3 days prior and the rest is history my son was rushed to a different hospital but is doing amazing regulating his temp and only needing a sleep pap on a 4. I can’t see him for 10 days. And videos like this are helping me and giving me relief.

My son was born at exactly 28 weeks, he just turned a year old last week!! He is doesn’t absolutely amazing and has no health issues at all! We went through so much in the 9 weeks in the NICU but you would never know it now❤️❤️❤️

I have been there with the last minute "brady" ... My oldest, when he first came home, the night before he had a Brady AGAIN.. But they said he was doing well enough over all they let him come home and he has done GREAT. You may want to ask your Ped about "synagis" the hospital may have given it and they may feel since it isn't "flu season" it isnt needed although circumstances are different right now. Just something to ask about. Thanking God that hes home and healthy .. You will be amazed how much he grows now that he is home w you. Continued prayers

You can wash your pump parts in the kitchen :) just don’t let them mix with other stuff same for baby bottles :) so glad baby is home!

My baby was born at 35wks3d and she had dips too. It was a stressful time.. the discoloration during the dips are scary but eventually able to come home after 10 days in the NICU ❤️

Wow this is so relatable. Burping the baby & watching the monitors was me every time. We err given a time frame of 3 weeks & they called us the next day like your baby is coming home on 2 days I was at target buying EVERYTHING! 🤣🤣

I remember the day I brought my premature son home in handmade cabbage patch doll clothes, because they really didn't have preemie clothes back then. He was 6 weeks early, and I brought him home at 3 weeks old. Next month he will be 36.

Aww your hospital's nursery is so large and it's awesome they allow dad in. My NICU baby's nursery will only allow one parent at a time and the curtain-pull option is sooo small, its very uncomfortable to have it closed for skin to skin

I used a mixrowave steamer for pump parts once a day and. Just soap and watet rest of day vaby was 34 weeks when born i pumped exclusively 8x a day good luck mine is 5 now

I haven’t but I will look them up! And oh my gosh, I’m so sorry. You can do this! The journey seems scary but the NICU nurses and doctors are so smart and loving, they keep those babies growing strong ! And preemies are so strong and resilient!

That’s how they taught me in the hospital 🤷🏼‍♀️ I didn’t pump with William so it’s all a learning curve for me :)
