I live in the north of France and we have a lot of children there. I am 22 from Lille (so city girl) and my friends and I are coming from wealthy families. Most of my friends have two to three siblings. In my group of best friends, we are 8 friends. 7 out of those 8 families have more than one children. 5 out 8 have 4 children. All wealthy families. All "Français de souche" as some would say, white and blond so to say. In my cousins' family, they are 5 children. In another of my cousins' family they are 4 children. All wealthy families. A girl at my high school, also coming from a wealthy family, has 10 siblings. When I mean wealthy, it means wealthy, they live in big mansions, pay private elitist schools for their children and owns several houses around Europe. It's not always about monthly benefits. French people like having big families.

This is a myth. The overall birth rate in France is high but in fact this high birth rate is almost entirely due to "new Frenchmen" of North African and African origin. French women of French origin have one of the lowest birth rates in the E.U. Immigrant birth rates have skewed the overall figures upwards. Although this was 3 years ago, I don't know ended up in my recommended videos. I was stunned of the title, knowing that French, especially because it's a developed country, don't have many children and women focus on development and career as well as personal growth and education. But then I get to know it's the Muslim women. LOL Then better they change the title to French citizens.

The French unlike the British or English call their former colonies French people ...so people of colour in France say they are French even Haitian people call themselves French before Haitian

High divorce rate, though, little higher than US. Doesn't matter if problem you started gets slightly 'fixed' only to get bashed by another problem you started. Boys raised by single moms become criminals and have mental health problems more often than other boys and become less successful (by education or by salary) than their male peers.
