Tammy, I sure do! With Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas coming, my doll hospital maybe have to close it’s doors until January! It’s so relaxing though, to slowly work on one. Maybe I’ll get up earlier to at least finish a few between now and the new year! Thanks for your kind words and comments! 😊

They are all so adorable I can't wait to see them cleaned up. You should try Febreze spray to get the cigarette smell out. Febreze does really good with my dog when I want to freshen up some of the blankets. It also helps when I spilled the coffee with soy milk in my car it helped a little but even industrial strength deodorizer didn't get that smell out. Goof Off really does a good job with paint if you soak that foot the paint and sheetrock will probably come right off. Have a good night.

Coffee smells in vehicles seem like they last forever, lol! Antoinette, thank you, I will try the Febreze, good idea, the smoke smell is heinous on these! My baby Chrissy is a 1972 doll and I am looking for a new ponytail for her

Hello! I grew up in the 90s with a baby Chrissy doll with a 1972 stamp on her neck. I recently pulled her out of storage so my daughter could play with her and unfortunately she got smushed! Her face is kinda caved in like a pug…I’m hoping you have some suggestions for how I might help her get back to shape?! Thanks!

I have had this happen with another doll when it had been stored in a bin with other dolls on top. I have two types of baby Chrissy, and one the vinyl is harder while the other three are a softer vinyl, and it’s easy to “smoosh.” Often, a doll will slowly go back to its previous face shape if left out. Sometimes not, which I’m guessing it the case with your Chrissy. Sometimes if they are stored too long with something smooshing them, it won’t plump back up without some help. You could try to heat the vinyl by using a hair drying to slowly warm up the vinyl, and see if it possibly goes back into shape by squeezing the cheeks and squeezing the forehead. You could also heat up some water, in a large pot, and before it breaks into a boil, turn off the heat, and carefully place Chrissy’s face in the water. But not far enough that you get water in the top of her head, where the pintail comes out. You definitely don’t want to add to the issue by having water inside. I hope this helps, I wish there was a simpler solution to suggest, but Chrissy is a bit different to fix than other simpler dolls! Good luck and let me know how it goes! The last resort, would be to take the head off, I’ve done this with other dolls, and stuffed the head with stuffing, I wouldn’t recommend this, since Chrissy has the hair growing mechanism/feature inside.

I wished I still had my baby Chrissy doll, I gave it to my grandmother to add to her doll collection and when she passed a family member stole all her dolls and sold them 😕 I hope my granny haunts this's dolls and the family members who sold them for drug money 😞
